Duby Belz is a singer/songwriter/actor from the east coast of Canada. Given the name Gilbert Peter Downey an raised in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in a small community called Cherrybrook, Duby began singing in at the age of 5  and starting professionally acting at the age of 15. Duby discovered his love for hip/hop & R&b at a young age with heavy musical influences by Michael Jackson,Usher, Chris Brown and favorite Hip Hop artists The Notorious BIG & Jay-Z. From hanging on street corners till the early hours in morning  to performing on stages such as televised shows "Gospel Challenge" which was shot and filmed in Toronto He's evolved into the artist he is today.
