BDT Podcast 071 - Porunñ

In November 2022 we had our first label event in Stockholm, Sweden and as we're passionated about releasing live recordings and there-and-then mixes on the podcast we were very excited when our good friend Armin SkyVibes wanted to contribute with his set from the party itself. Hailing from Stockholm with his roots in Iran, Armin is a master on building bridges, as a passionated and skilled dj as well as party and event maker in the capital of Sweden. For this set he made a transition after the peak time journey of Ness to the last hours of the morning. Let's bring some memories back and enjoy this two hour closing set from our first of many label nights of Navigare Audio.

Seldon invites you Deep Down The Rabbit Hole, this time with BLEZ. Budapest-born DJ with passion for hypnotic and atmospheric electronic music, Blez started to collect techno and acid sounds during the 90’s. In 2008, together with Toma they launched the radio show called ElectroCat (ELECTROnic CATegories) on Tilos Radio Budapest, concentrating without compromise on various styles and subgenres of techno & house, which are far from mainstream influence. Blez enjoys playing well-designed futuristic soundscapes and is always looking for the hypnotic or psychedelic side of techno. He often plays atmospheric dub- or minimal house and carefully selected acid sounds as well. Together with his friend Brainworx they organized deep techno events called Hypnotic Form, introducing artists such as Claudio PRC and Deepbass to the local audience. He regularly plays at S.U.N. Festival and other party series in Budapest.

SIBLICITY (TOTIM Records)

Siblicity, the collaboration between Gabor (Disandat) & Peter Halasz (Almond Lama) was first presented as an online radio programme on radiOzora. Although originally emerged as a platform for the brothers to compose DJ sets while playing either together or solo, the idea of shifting towards performing their own productions has been present since the beginning.

Funding TOTIM Records and Sepia Sound Studio at a vivid independent art complex in the suburbs of Budapest enabled the Siblings to manifest their almost two-decade experience in contemporary music into producing their own sound while also starting several musical collaborations. Siblicity became the cover for their collaborative productions and performances.

 While the Brothers have appeared on festival and club stages around Europe presenting live shows from techno to ambient they also expanded into immersive A/V collaborations and presented several unique experiences. Their piece “Evolve” has been presented at various platforms and is currently being screened regularly at the Sound Dome of the House of Music hungary featuring dome projections and spatialized audio. 

Siblicity’s contribution to Hypnus’s Memoir pages had been published and well received in July of 2023 marking the conclusion of their half decade activity in techno production and live performances.

DJ CRIMSON is on his way to the 2024 Kolorádó Festival. Lick the Click! house-focused Sunburst parties and radically freestyle wind initiatives are equally important chapters in DJ Crimson's career. A former contributor and organizer of dansmusiq, Szép Booking / Férfimunka and Kimitrak, he now combs his favourite genres and moods under the labels Amour De Vacances and Ideal Fears respectively. His undeniable imprint is the cold and dark waves of the eighties, melancholic Italo, the acid-dub west coast psychedelia of the nineties and Weatherall inspirations. Enchanted cosmic travel and slow-burning, paranoid leftfield disco go hand in hand.

Each track is a living icaro, woven from hypnotic basslines, tribal percussion, sacred chants, and subtle Arabic influences. The music carries you into a sacred space where geometry becomes sound, where water flows into fire, and where the boundaries of the self dissolve into infinite vibration.

A true music lover since his childhood, Mizoo has been Djing since 1992. He
discovered electronic music in 1988 and joined Ultimae records in 2007. He joined Moonloop records in 2009. Since 2006, he was the biolive's music manager for the Timegate NYE festival in Switzerland 

All around Switzerland & France, with some incursions in Morocco, Greece,
London, Italia, Turkey, Hungary, Germany, he offers, through his various genres of mixes, a subtle combination of ambient, electronica, downtempo, melodic house & deep techno, psychedelic progressive trance, blended with some movie excerpts. 

In 2021, he created Arlette records.
