"Picturebox is a music project based around songwriter Robert Halcrow in the city of Canterbury. Various incarnations have played gigs around Kent and the south-east, including hosting their own Tea and Biscuits nights at The Annexe, a small Salvation Army café in the middle of Canterbury. The idea, as far as lyrics go, is to write about anything at all. So tea parties, football, French pop, US pop, cartoon characters and the lurgy have all appeared in recent songs."

Forged in the raw rave heat of the 90’s, he became one of London’s stars, with a long-running residency at UK super- club Escape that lasted nearly 15 years. During that time, he was crowned the best resident DJ from 2003-2005 at the Dance Music Awards, and played headline sets at legendary UK clubs Ministry of Sound, Fabric, The End and Pacha.
