Whenever his mother would bring him along on long road trips or sister blasted music while cleaning her room, Terrence Green better known as Terry Edwardz was exposed to a wide range of artist like the 4 Tops, The Commodores and Parliament Funkadelic to Blackstreet, and Usher. Entering freshman year of high school wanting to follow his uncle's footsteps, he decided to become a DJ. Soon after he got his first set of turntables he discovered his passion for singing and love for R&B music. In high school the Delaware native was part of a Rap/R&B group called "GQ Musiq" who participated in high school talent shows then started writing and recording music at in-home studios. During his senior year the group split leaving Terry to pursue a solo career as a R&B artist. Entering in local talent shows like Newark Idol and open mics venues, he would continue to strengthen his vocals and writing skills. In 2013 he became an intern for Wavlab Studios, using the internship as way to work with local artist and promoters. Later that year he was in Secdum magazine's Supernova Issues as a featured artist talking about his passion for music. After leaving his internship he wanted to get more success within music and still wanting to pursue his dreams, Terry invested money into himself learning how to book shows, manage, and market himself as not just an artist but as a brand. Wearing multiple hats is no easy task for an artist that does not have the support of a label but with today's rising of independent artist, Terry Edwardz is determined to share his catchy melodies and relatable lyrics with the world.
