This is a cover of Garth Brooks The River from December 2013 that I will use as a baseline for a before/after as I'm just starting a specific voice program.  I'm just a beginner with a bunch of car singing experience and some karaoke performances:-)  I have been taking some voice lessons the past six month to try to get serious with it as a hobby and we will see how it goes.  I say hobby because I have a day job as an engineer but I really love singing and music in general.  I actually have recently done some small performances as part of larger shows and would like to do more and do it better though don't expect to make any living from it.  Just living out another of many dreams... and as this song says you should try.
