Part of my Oud Taqsims · Meditative Journeys in Sound collection.
Each piece is a short oud improvisation, between two and three minutes, exploring different maqams and scales that express both emotion and stillness.

I arranged these recordings for moments when I want my walks or quiet hours to be guided only by the sound of the oud. Some tracks include subtle ambient layers to sustain a meditative tone, but the focus always remains on the natural warmth of the instrument.

The oud, with its deep wooden resonance and voice-like tone, has long been cherished for its soothing and introspective qualities. Its melodies have a way of slowing the breath and drawing the mind into calm reflection.

This series, however, stays closer to silence—a personal dialogue between breath and string, created for mindfulness, focus, and peaceful thought.

The 108's

The 108's are a series of mantras for meditation, prayer, and listening. In Yogic tradition the repetition of a mantra 108 time is considered sacred. Each mantra is used for a specific purpose and serves to unlock the wisdom and grace within each of us.

Ganesh.
In this first 108 we pray to the energy of Ganesh. He is considered both the remover of obstacles and the force which places those challenges we require in our path so that we may rise within ourselves. When listening to this mantra breath deeply, quiet your mind, and perhaps hold within your mind's eye a challenge or new direction you are facing. Remain open to possibility and trust in the light within you to guide the way.

Перевод:
Эту мантру можно назвать "сущностью всех мантр". Это молитва Солнцу с просьбой о просветлении всех живых существ. Мантра очищает нас, активизирует все энергетические центры и создаёт баланс в них. Гаятри Мантра на самом деле просветляет и освобождает. По сути, она призывает духовный свет. Если вы приложите усилия и выучите слова мантры, чтобы нести её по жизни, она станет для вас прекрасным подарком и компаньоном.
Пойте мантру, визуализируя тёплый, яркий солнечный свет, который освещает всё и всех. Все живые существа получают свет от Солнца, безоговорочно, без просьбы получить что-то взамен. Озарите свой внутренний мир солнечным светом.
