Mira & Chris Schwarzwalder Fusion 2014 Bachstelzen

DJ, promoter, digger, vinyl lover. For several years, has been active on the Warsaw stage, inviting and playing alongside such artists as Levon Vincent, Untold, James Ruskin, Blawan, Pariah, Redshape, Terranova, Koelsh, Dapayk & Padberg, amongst more. In 2013 he promoted the first Warsaw Dimensions Festival launch party, which resulted in his performance at the festival in Croatia. He is also the co-founder of the project dype and recurring events – Dype Move and Tornado whilst playing at the most recognised clubs in Poland – including Sfinks700, 1500m2, Metro, 8Bitów, Mózg, Luzztro. He tries not to limit himself to one genre as in his sets you will find both techno and house, but also disco, all depending on the nature of the event and focus on playing in the crowd.

Back’ is the first single from Cassy's debut album, 'Donna' Co-produced by her ‘soul brother ’King Britt. 'Back' comes complete with remixes from Berlin trio ItaloJohnson & Karlovak's Mr Top Hat & Art Alfie. 'Back' is a deep and moody stripped back but emotive cut. Cassy's vocals lend the whole thing a personal and intimate feel, with the overall mood lovelorn, vulnerable and honest, just like her previous productions it's a inventive, left of centre house and techno affair

The next podcast in our series comes from MKO, a DJ and promoter, who has been active on the Warsaw scene for several years now. 

Maciej co-founded "Dype" that have brought artists to the Polish capital such as Levon Vincent, Objekt, Efdemin, Vril, and Konstantin Sibold. They have partnered with Dimensions and played all across Poland as well as other cult venues such as Climax Institutes (Stuttgart), Chalet and Ritter Butzke (Berlin). 

Maciej tries not to limit his sets to one genre, oscillating somewhere between house and techno, deep, dub, Detroit and acid. The mix is a vinyl only offering recorded earlier this summer.

Podcast #032 : Van Anh.

Amsterdam based devotee Van Anh is a DJ pur sang with over a decade of experience to her name, making her the respected artist we get to enjoy today. Her sincere love for digging, selecting and technical mixing oozes through every vessel of her body. Although her dedication has always been around, her musical odyssey seems to really have taken a turn since her transition to vinyl. This has not only opened doors to further developing her delicate taste in music but it has given her the chance to fade deeper into the electronic music spectrum.
The name 'Van Anh', which translates to 'clouds', fits her hypnagogic magnetic way of mixing like a glove, allowing her to withdraw from any fixed-genre sets and rather resonate to the sound waves of her liking. Very much like clouds, her sound takes on multiple shapes and forms varying from deep ethereal ambient to hard uncompromising techno. Never monolithic, what makes listening to Van Anh so enjoyable is the intricate way of combining all these sounds, bridging music from the past and the present.
That she knows how to shepherd an audience is underlined by her residencies at Den Haag based The Crave and Rotterdam based Transportbedrijf. The latter is a continuation of Perron, Rotterdam's underground hotspot that has welcomed some of the biggest names in electronic music. Whether it's a warming-up, the peak of the night or a closing set, she will seamlessly move you on the dance floor. Besides from having shared the stage with several heavyweights, Van Anh also hosts her own event in Rotterdam called ISOTOOP - a platform created to explore projects and experiment with sounds as she pleases. The concept is all about channelling new expressions of creativity further into the unknown, in a genuine attempt to open people's minds to new sounds.

Podcast #034 : Deepbass.

Naming the project Deepbass was a strong statement of intent and commitment to a sound of his own, from the start. That he has in fact established it and remains on a path of constant perfection of it, is indicative of his personality and talent. 
His commitment to the deeper, hypnotic side of techno is further proved by his own label, Informa Records.
What stands out from his production and performances is that Deepbass creates something identifiably his, but refuses to ever be limited by it or to get comfortable repeating just one thing. Instead, he takes what ́s already his own and streamlines it, sharpens it and nuances it. The origin and destination might be constant, but the path it takes and how the journey feels is ever-changing.

Introspective, nostalgic and hypnotic. These are the adjectives that describe the sounds of the young Italian duo Primal Code. 
Gabriele and Davide come from Milano, a musically very active city to form artistically. They immediately jumped into the scene with slow melodies and sumptuous grooves found in their first EP "Eteru", released by Hypnus Record. Last January they reconfirmed themselves with the second EP "Artemisia", this time on Konstrukt, which is getting an excellent response. 
A lot of other their original tracks can be listened on “the Memoir” podcast series, where you can find a focus hour of their whole music.
A personal and musical experience emerges in the songs, creating an atmosphere in which all listeners’ senses are involved and projecting them into a sentimental level. Their music is an expression of a primordial instinct that dwells in all of us.

His sound, striking and poised, could be the soundtrack to the world thought by futuristic architects like Superstudio, Yona Friedmann or Zaha Hadid. His ways to transport crowds and himself far away from the decks and the club, and the consistent quality of his dj sets have not only allowed him to play around Europe as well as for world famous clubs and festivals, from the legendary Tresor (Berlin) to Mosaique (St Petersburg), and from Club Transmediale to Electron, but also earned him a residency for the Techno Legends nights at le Zoo.

His solo and collaborative productions, released on labels such as Krill Music or Dement3d (as HISS:1292), have earned a place into the finest djs bags, from Donato Dozzy to DVS1 or Peter van Hoesen to Anthony Parasole, Daniel Avery or Dr Rubinstein. Educated by dub and drum and bass, his approach to producing heavely relies on hands-on techniques, giving his production an un-mistakable flavour. His dedication and love for music and gear make it so that he spends most of his time in the studio, exploring new sounds and techniques while crafting beats on the fly. 
He's coming out soon with a track on the on Bleed Music, alongside Dj Nobu, Refracted, Peder Mannerfelt, Acronym and more.  Also wrapping up an EP on Dement3d now.

Russian-based DJ and producer.

Denis Safiullin (Unbroken Dub) is Russian musician, DJ and a representative of the HOT WAX team from Tyumen. He began to show musical activity in 2007, the first major result of which was the release on the RAWAX label.
Initially, this label has been focused solely on the release of Denis’ music, but later on it published other artists such as Neil Landstrumm, Matt Star, Jordan Fields, Unbalance and Alex Danilov. Being a big fan of soviet analog synths and of all kinds of experiments with samples, Denis managed to achieve originality of his compositions, and enlist the support of many members of the club industry around the world. Thus, in 2012, he made his debut on the famous Dutch label Delsin with Checkpoint EP released on vinyl.
