The song is a tribute to those who survived in the  Cassinga massacre which took place on the 4th of May 1978, in Cassinga Angola. that morning, the then South African apartheid government bombed the Cassinga refugee camp which belonged to Swapo and beloved that about 900 Namibians (including children)died.  the song mention 14 survivors who most were teenagers.
