Ricky Nord is a well-known name and friendly face among the Naarm dance music scene. He is the founder of the podcast, radio show and record label, Club Elevate - bringing names of any stature into the spotlight to showcase local and international talent. Monsieur Nord has taken his Sip ‘N Spin set as a time to slow things down from his usual club BPMs to bring viewers an hour set of heart-pacing minimal, progressive and tribal house tracks.

Mechanized Tool Pulses w/ tamarawrx3 | Mixed Up Vol.3

You can only let go what you’re trying to hold onto. Once you accept this stream of audible emotions you start floating along, your body starts moving, your mind is empty as you’re full of sounds, vibrations and energies. They start to build feelings within you. Your mind is wandering and usually you get stuck with those thoughts coming up - not anymore. They come and go, just as the waves of sound surrounding you. 
Thabo represents the caring warmth of house with the influence of a golden spring setting slowly - please just imagine how silky it will appeal to your soul. 

Listening to Thabo’s ESD mixtape reminds me of the feeling when I discovered clubbing at Hoppetosse and Heideglühen - just getting lost in and between the sounds being played, absolutely fascinated by the DJ’s craft of mixing and the mastered approach of creating space, by feeling, reflecting and expressing. So much finesse and detail captured in a complex variety of elements playing together. 

And Thabo is a master of his craft - this is what I imagine a good soul appears like, and this is just a try to get as close as possible to describe what his mixtape does with me. Your perception must be far away from what I am experiencing right now. Treat yourself. Have your own experience. Get lost and find yourself. Listen yourself and be fluid. 
Publishing such a first class mixtape of an established artist within the house community makes us very proud and we’re more than grateful for our journey until this day.
