A friend of mine was going through a hard time and I felt very emotionally connected to the darkness they were feeling.  I went to the piano and improvised a song for them to express the feeling of sadness I was experiencing for their struggle.

A Child's Sorrow - Improvised Piano Piece

On April 8, 2023 (Saturday), 3/4 of the target number of songs for this project will be achieved. Taking that opportunity, I plan to change the thumbnail for each song on soundcloud. This piece may might have good 1/f fluctuation characteristic although I stopped investigating it each piece.

I'm now making Archive site of Piano Ten Thousand Leaves project by utilizing #wordpress. Basically nice direction I've already gotten.. : )
Currently 1100 pieces already achieved. 
But this week I need to do something else, so I'm going to stop this task for a bit.

Oh Endless Day

2023 - For the past few months I've been working with Public Resource, a California based non-profit to release an extensive collection of older music for free use. In addition to audio, we'll be releasing the music as MIDI and musicxml. Last week we started posting a new featured piece every week on the Public Resource Soundcloud page (@PublicResource). Follow there, or look for frequent reposts here. It'll include classical music, pop music before 1927, ragtime, folk songs, and more. The main collection will be at the Internet Archive, and will be called the "Internet Jukebox". I'll post more about it as it grows.
