A world wanderer who came to rest in a coastal Ecuadorian village, Way of K has been exposed to music from a wide variety of cultures. This global influence combined with his unique background as an engineer and meditation teacher has given him a special relationship to sound.

His studio overlooking the ocean also serves as a meditation retreat center, where intense periods of musical creation are balanced by retreats for days at a time in total silence, with only the sounds of the rainforest and rhythm of the waves to influence him towards the next work of art.

When he’s not in the studio or guiding meditation retreats, you'll probably find him surfing. Constantly gathering inspiration from the relentlessly dynamic nature of the ocean.

Rob is a DJ/Producer/Remixer based in Fareham, UK. 

His main musical styles are House (Soulful,Funky,Disco,Latin,Tech)

From a early age, Rob has always had love for Dance music.

He started to produce music at a young age, where he was introduced to MIDI sequencing at College.

As well as DJing around the UK and Europe at great venues such as Ministry of Sound and SE One, Rob is a established producer within the Soulful House scene and has remixes and original recordings on labels such as Swing City, Duffnote, Purple Music, Soulstice Music and many others.

His style is mainly uplifting and soulful, but has been known to branch out into other areas of House and Dance too.

I first got into music through my Dad who taught me a few chords on the guitar but i got more experimental and started messing with cassette tape and tape recorders. The first keyboard i ever owned was when i was around 10 - a Realistic Concertmate 500 which had a very basic sampling function so you could say a few words into it and play them up and down the keyboard. This combined with an obsession with Jean Michel Jarre's Zoolook album led to an eternal love affair with electronic music and especially sampling. Since then ive been through a myriad of synths and studio setups starting with a Roland W-30 workstation/sampler back in 1991. I love a broad range of electronic music especially deep house / tech house / drum & bass / chill / ambient / trip hop & psytrance. Over the years I've played keys in a couple of cover bands & had a couple of gigs playing some of my own tracks at various dance events.
