From tribal house to UK dubstep, from psychedelic cumbia to dark disco, from slow trance to indie dance, everything that purrs and reflects its scales, which squeaks and waves at the same time: reptilian music.

About the VA "GECKO BLASTER"
This VA puts the spotlight on 8 countries, represented by twenty artists from radically different scenes, from the parisian organic underground to the dubstep soundsystem scene of Brooklyn, to the downtempo and schnekno of Berlin and Frankfurt, swiss lo-fi, japanese experimental, or slow house drawn from brazilian forests, not to mention the participation of locals from the french southwest who offer organic jungle, dark electro or tribal slow trance... A musical diversity which has a common denominator love for psychedelia, distortion, depth of bass and sharp rhythms like the claws of an arboreal monitor lizard.

About this EP :

Amálgama is Birdzzie's most recent work, developed and hatched even during the Pandemic, as a reflection of the influences that have come to inspire him in recent years, with the pulsating African and Brazilian music scene in Lisbon, through its rhythms and flavors.

Respectfully in the form of a humble tribute, he decided to release these 3 tracks that came out in a cascade and at once, which constitute a profound flight between Europe, South America and Africa. Who better to symbolize this good amalgam than some of the migratory birds, such as Cagarra, Abelharuco and Milhafre, which during their lives exist, each in its own way, between these 3 continents?

The Scythians, a proud and strong tribe, succsesfull through infamous warhorses ridden by a bowman and therefore named as the barbarians conquerd Babylon. They left no known written records but there heritage is still existing in a bunch of russian sagas and myth.

It could mean too much or it could only mean showing the beautiful shape of a head that could never be shown as well. Mozes Meijer left his northern home and run south of the border.
