Haiku poetry and music.

Naviar Haiku is a music project in which artists are invited to make new music inspired by a weekly assigned haiku poem. Participation is free and there are no limitations in the songs’ length or genre.

Haiku is a traditional and short form of Japanese poetry consisting of three lines: it’s about moments of objective experience which lead to deeper considerations about life and nature. The juxtaposition of two images or ideas and the consequent creation of a gap in the imagery gives the reader (or, in this case, the musician) the chance to complete the poem with his/her own interpretation.

This project is about expanding the meaning of a poem beyond its words, and the active role of the reader in haiku poetry, unique in the literary realm, is what inspired this project.

This is the main title theme of "EXODE" a web series for TV5 directed by Jesse Malcolm Sweet (part Les Enfants Terribles film crew). The full soundtrack was composed by Le Matos and will be available late 2016.

About "EXODE" :
David, a celestial cartographer, suddenly awakens from hypostasis when his emergency escape pod is ejected from its long-range mothership, the ASCE-Atlas. Trapped in a space the size of a coffin, he will have to survive in the vacuum that surrounds him. With the help of LEO, an artificial intelligence, David must try to reconnect with his relatives still trapped aboard the Atlas and save them from imminent death.

I created a slowly drifting patch on the modular, using multiple clocks that gradually speed up and slow down. The sequences driven by these clocks interlock, such that the whole feels integrated. Over this, I ad libbed on BS2, JP-8080, and nord piano, with lots of effects (reverb and delays)

I am still looking, trying and experimenting, I really like electronic ambient for many years, but it only works as a live percussionist. In short, nothing is black or white:)
In today's hectic world I need quiet sounds and the vast majority of songs created at night, so are my compositions such as they are.

My tracks is based on the absolute freedom of the use of sound. Arises as if I painted a picture. In the head is the base, and then adding the details here and there.
As well as if I were his music told the story.

I use: Ableton-Live-Suite with Partnerinstrumets, Kontakt Player + virtual instrumentzs,NI-Machine, Ableton Push, Acces Virus TI Snow, Waldorf Blofeld, AKAI MPK 49, Korg Microkorg XL+,KORG Kaossilator,Kaosspad,KORG Wavedrum, Roland HPD 20, nord lead A1 r, Yamaha mx49, Roland Edirol for Fieldrecordings - and various live percussion.(Kalimba, frame drum, tombak, koshi etc)
