The Sound Of Silence ¨(Naviarhaiku 548  )

Recently, our institute received recordings by Ales Gryb, a talented but little-known electronic musician. These recordings were handed over to us by his relatives. They were created between 1991 and 1993 in the city of Luninets. During the day, Ales worked as a history teacher at a local secondary school, but beyond the school walls, he was a dreamer and a unique electronic enthusiast.
He also actively corresponded with ethno-futurists from Tartu (Estonia) and aimed to reflect ethno-futuristic ideas in his music. The presented recording, one of the five we received, is part of his extensive body of work dedicated to the swamps of Belarus and their impact on the human psyche and life.
Unfortunately, Ales disappeared in 2001. He went to the swamp to gather cranberries and never returned. As his students later recounted, the swamp gave him inspiration, but it also claimed him.

Necromance is an electronic instrumental concept extended play by Kirsten Chevrolet, telling the story of two troubled teenagers, Manuel Lopez and Antonio Alvarez. In their hometown of Valencia, the two commit a series of crimes in a single night, driven by a need to "feel something."

After their stabbings, they get into an argument. The conflict comes to a crescendo when Manuel is stabbed by Antonio. Alvarez then defiles his corpse as the album comes to a close with the title track.

I am still looking, trying and experimenting, I really like electronic ambient for many years, but it only works as a live percussionist. In short, nothing is black or white:)
In today's hectic world I need quiet sounds and the vast majority of songs created at night, so are my compositions such as they are.

My tracks is based on the absolute freedom of the use of sound. Arises as if I painted a picture. In the head is the base, and then adding the details here and there.
As well as if I were his music told the story.

I use: Ableton-Live-Suite with Partnerinstrumets, Kontakt Player + virtual instrumentzs,NI-Machine, Ableton Push, Acces Virus TI Snow, Waldorf Blofeld, AKAI MPK 49, Korg Microkorg XL+,KORG Kaossilator,Kaosspad,KORG Wavedrum, Roland HPD 20, nord lead A1 r, Yamaha mx49, Roland Edirol for Fieldrecordings - and various live percussion.(Kalimba, frame drum, tombak, koshi etc)
