The Berlin-based artist Gats is in full creative bloom. His constant exploration of sound makes him a part of various projects, including Die Grillen, Voltags, and Changa Boys, to name a few. With no hesitation or restraint when it comes to drawing influence from both organic and more electronic sounds — and from genres as diverse as post-punk to anti-disco — his music always unfolds at very low revolutions. His contribution to “Socarrat” is evident in the infectious and highly contagious dub track “Astra.”
