Love the composition it reminds me of a film score. Amazingly realistic piano patch I especially like the soundstage and treatment given to the mix. I tried making one in Bitwig but it was far too muffled and layering it didn't help. well done

I love the composition and the lo fi piano sound design. My only gripe is some (a tad disturbing at least to my ears) resonances on higher notes but it could be just me.

It's the 167th edition of KVR's One Synth Challenge and this month was pick a DAW, any DAW, and use a synth included in that DAW. So I went for perhaps the second most obvious option: Ableton Live's Wavetable.

The Great Outdaws - OSC 167

Made with one instance of Alchemy in Logic, played live for OSC 167. Tried to reproduce the sound i remember playing recitals as a kid in a large hall that was rented out at the time. I used a compressor to ensure no peaks and a channel eq with a gentle shelving cut to remove some low-end flutter I couldn't figure out how to tame with synthesis or Alchemy's built-in EQ. No other plugins. Fun synthesis challenge, combined with a compositional challenge.
