Liturgy Psalm - Week 2 (Kiahk)

In this Advent sermon, "Lord Save Me!!," Fr. Elijah from St. Mark DC reflects on the hope and salvation found in the coming of Christ. Drawing from the story of Zachariah and Elizabeth, the message reminds us of God’s perfect timing and His power to rescue us from burdens and spiritual struggles. His Grace shares with us a story from the book called “The World of the Desert Fathers” which exemplifies the importance of fasting. 

As we approach the Holy Great Fast, let us remember the lesson from this story along with the saying of St. John Chrysostom: "Fasting of the body is food for the soul."
