Emmanuel, our God, • the great [and] awesome one, • the invisible one • in His divine glory;
By the greatness • of His goodness, • He was revealed to us • and we witnessed Him -

through his incarnation • of the holy Mary. • She bore him for the world • while remaining a virgin.
Jesus is the begotten, • the One from the father, • the delectable fruit, • [and] the tree of life.

Jesus is the steadfastness • of the hermits. •  Jesus is the purity • of the wise virgins.
When I bless the name • of my Lord Jesus, • my mind will be taken • to the gates of heaven. 

When I bless the name • of my Lord Jesus, • my entire body • will be full of light.
When they hear the name • of my Lord Jesus, • the evil spirits • flee in shame.

Through the name • of my Lord Jesus • the mountains and caves  • were inhabited.
They praise and glorify • my Lord Jesus • by day and by night • in the likeness of the angels.
