Ara-u announces a new electro compilation on his label No Static / Automatic. Titled The Exiled, the album showcases the sound of artists he grew up with in his local scene in Venezuela and also sets out to raise money to support the local community. All born in the town of Maracaibo, Ara-u, Manao, Elektor, Dagga, Confidential Recipe and ELO contribute to the release with a total of 8 heavyweight, high energy tracks.

The Exiled brings together a new generation of exiled artists who left the country for economic and political reasons. In the process of working on this release it has allowed them to stay connected and bring a creative sense of joy to their home country. All proceeds from the release will be donated to Santa Cruz De Mara which supports the elderly community living in poverty and struggling to survive, providing much needed accommodation and food.

“I've seen all of these kids growing up ever since they used to come to our raves and they all started making electronic music . When I say kids, I mean they are my little brother's age Dagga apart from Elektor, who used to DJ a lot at our parties. They are all starting to do really well, I'm really proud of all of them as they have developed musically in foreign countries in different music scenes after leaving Venezuela caused by economical and political reasons. We were all born in my city - Maracaibo.” - Ara-u

Manao :
Born and raised in Venezuela, Manao is the convergence of many influences. Inspired by sounds from all around the world, his journey always embodied an eclectic approach to electronic music.
Now based in Germany, his experience and inspiration have entered a new stage. Finding most influences from 80's electro, ghettotech, techno, and jungle. Deep basslines and hard-knocking 808's served in different tempos, mirror the Avant-Garde profile of today's underground electronic music scene.

Ara-u and No Static / Automatic :
Venezuelan Electro producer Ara-u’s music career started in the late 90s as a key figure that brought rave culture to his home country through community and events.
He’s now been based in the UK for over two decades, and in early 2020 launched No Static / Automatic as a platform for his own production as well as from his close affiliates and respected peers. His releases have had firm support from Dave Clark, Alienata, and Solid Blake and he has collaborated with Radioactive Man in the past, releasing 2019’s Plastic Attack EP together.

Barcelona-based DJ and producer, Tomas Estrany AKA Thissperso was born and raised in the western part of the Buenos Aires metropolitan area.

he is part of this new generation of talented Argentinian producers such as Dj Frankie or DJ これからの緊急災害 among others. Thus creating their musical universe in their district "63" which is so dear to them and through their style of music, the representation of the city and its places is thus manifested.

Tomas is first and foremost a music enthusiast, he has played in various bands as a guitarist, bassist and singer.
He has the distinction of being self-taught and has no musical barriers, his music is of very high quality.
It reflects his life, sometimes soft and melodic sometimes hard and violent with an intense and addictive energy.

Once upon a time, there was a whelk who was offered a simple mayo. His name was Killog, king of the seas, storm and abyss. He loved the parterre, the trumpet and the slide. Every morning, he and the local chavoux met in front of the Calicoco terrace for a day of gastropot style. To accompany this session full of tricks, Kill always brought along his good compil' full of tracks. A chunky mix of sounds described by the village old whelk as "A variation of hits packed with sprawling hats contrasted with the sound of heat-textured bass. An assemblage of glitch noise by savvy mollusks, unstructured breaks for neighbors in need of fuel, tempo-doped party club." He also added that "This music samples the fight against the devious cyclopterans above and their crustacean militias. You can hear sonic and electric experimentation, heterogeneous phases for dj's in panic." And with these words, he watched the shells leave, singing "No time to swallow water".
