Anjunadeep warmly welcomes renowned Spanish producer and label owner Edu Imbernon for his debut Anjunadeep release ‘S.Y.L.’.

An influential figure in the European house and techno scene over the past decade, Edu has topped the Beatport charts and won consistent support from the likes of Pete Tong, Maceo Plex, Sasha and Seth Troxler. In addition to heading up his own label Fayer, Edu has held down numerous residencies around the world, including Space Ibiza and Watergate Berlin.

‘S.Y.L.’ features an infectious synth riff and surging drums split by a beautifully calm breakdown. A sure-fire moment in any set, Imbernon’s latest demonstrates the Valencian producer’s intricate style.

Edu Imbernon - S.Y.L.

Starting with the Henry Saiz's fantastic 2019 bootleg remix of ilomilo by Billie Eilish, I added the classic (and wonderful) Wonderful original 1999 mix track from Nacho Sotomayor (La Roca) and then the more recent Dreamers Inc & Throdef Deep Rmx.
This experiment reveals the coincidence in its chord progression despite being so distant (20 years apart in time) tracks.

La pregunta es… como llevar la canción al track. Esto es lo que persigue Juan Hansen adaptando un tema que marca el sonido actual de los Babasonicos a la pista de baile, con la intención de rearmar la canción al formato del club. Sumando elementos gradualmente, manteniendo la atmósfera y desarrollando una historia que se va volcando hacia el minimalismo con elementos del techno y el indie. El beat se descompone de a poco dejando a las vocales de Adrian Dargelos tomar el protagonismo y viceversa. Llegando al ultimo drop la energía llega a su climax y la historia se devela, pero la pregunta sigue sin respuesta.

Martin Tolosa es un Dj/productor nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina, que comenzó su carrera como dj en el año 2010 pasando por varios clubes y en los ultimos 5 años siendo residente todas las semanas en Piso 15 sky bar, un bar en la altura en la zona mas prestigiosa de Buenos Aires.

Su carrera como productor comenzó en el año 2016, lanzando varios edits, originales y remixes con el apoyo de grandes artistas como Nick Warren y Hernan Cattaneo. Febrero de 2022 lanza un single en el compilado Winter Collection del sello Ingles The Soundgarden
