Mind and reason will erode as irrational fear begins to dominate. In the hunt for the beast some become hunter some become prey.

Mina Lord is creating doom and experimental electronic music, crafting a maze of distorted rhythms, haunting atmospheres and twisted structures and dynamics. With a background in drumming and contemporary music, she forges heavy , roaring as well as defined and complex drums with a unique transcendental drive. Her music is a distinct fusion of genres, taking inspiration from Metal, Djent, Punk and Classical music, woven seamlessly together, often distilled into pure industrial and power electronic experimentation as well as relentless rhythmic noise and
heavy unbending darkness.

Echoes in Distortion: a tribute to the sonic rebels forged in the crackling hum of amps and chaotic rhythms, this song aspires to channel the groundbreaking boldness of early Cabaret Voltaire, the relentless energy of Black Tish, and the brainsickness of The Butthole Surfers. Melodic but unruly, unraveling yet structured—it twists and bends, paying homage to the underground architects who aimed to reshape sound itself.

So there's all kinds of stuff on this page, but after months of schizophrenic debates about who was playing with who and who took the lead while doing it, finally, the decision was made: all my alter egos got together and decided to form a band. From 2020 on new tracks are created under the moniker Gruppo Infernal. Only pure MMTJ tracks will still be named as such. 

Gruppo Infernal still relies on my work as Me, my Thumb and Jack, an ongoing quest for a liberating approach to sound creation where the human body acts as an oscillator amplifying the natural 50hz hum. Direct live recording, improvisations and delay loops only using analog filters and effects. No editing, no overdubs. Gruppo Infernal adds digital treatment to this original sound material. 

UnterPitch was an alter ego using samples & synths.
Bleached Coffins was a one-off project using guitars.
