It's probably more what haven't been written about this argentinian-based neo theatrical, medieval brit rock even-not-been-completely-discovered quintet; than what has actually been said. Besides the challenge that represents the fact of writing, composing and singing in a non native language -even if that means trying to conquer an unfriendly and hostile market- and incarnating the post-Malvinas-War generation, the band began to play in their town, Mar del Plata, the most touristic city in the country, south east from buenos aires. 

Formed in late 2009, the group went over the most clasical brit-pop sounds in their -Oasis & Blur- origin to a darker and instrospective -Dandy Warhols & BRMC- psychodelic side in their two first albums (Bristols EP in 2010 & Train To The Black Circus in 2011).

After their first singer, acoustic guitar player, main composer and frontman Pablo Hesse disbanded, they faced the most democratic and non preasured period of the own-declaired friendship's band. "We play 'cause we're friends, we're not friends 'cause we play" they often say. In the second period, both lead guitar Lino Ezequiel Parodi and keyboardist (better known as a city's night example more than from the music scene) Jopi Hernando began writing more frecuently as they already used to do in the earlier 2004/2005 (with their unknown "Grey Days" project) and give birth to a renewed sound. Boastig the motto "no synthesizers were used on this record", embracing the exaggerated pomp of prog rock and vaudevillian, port-&-drunk-sailors music, more melodical and romantic, creating a huge, mock-operatic-medieval sound with layered guitars and overdubbed vocals they recorded their other two albums ("The Garden Of The Ages" EP in 2012 & "Shhh!" in 2014).

Precisly in the last album, there is almost no english-classic band that haven't influenced them: Oasis, Blur, Stone Roses, Xtc, The Smiths, The Cure, Talking Heads, Genesis, Queen, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones are just a few of the 60-70-80-90's english music's exponents that define this particular album and also this multi creative argentinian-brit group.

Tucano has been created by Emanuele Navigli at the purpose of recording and mixing with professionalism enjoying the music till the bottom of the soul!
