After Brazil and "Cuando los Ángeles Lloran" this is the second mix in the nation series. I will not waste my words on Japan, I will just say ninja and that is enough inspiration for me. Regarding the music; backbone of this mix is double CD compilation that celebrates 10 years of Zenon Records.

[ Title ]
Sakabatō ( 逆刃刀 ) is a fictional Japanese katana with its sharpened edge in the inward, curved side of the blade (opposite of a standard katana). It was forged by master swordsmith Arai Shakku and wasn't designed for killing. On the contrary, it was made in offering to honor the new peace that the Meiji Era would bring. It's wielded by Himura Kenshin and symbolises his oath not to kill again.

[ Trivia ] I discovered and later on borrowed the motto "substance will overpower hype" from "MiLight -未来-" album made by Japanese hip hop producer DJ Krush. What I love(d) about this album is "voice intermezzos" that are inserted between tracks. Every intermezzo is actually a message from MC that featured on MiLight. Cosinus was born in Germany 1979 and currently living in Biel, Switzerland. Michael discovered the world of electronic music at the age of 13 and was inspired by artist like Yello, Kraftwerk and the sounds of Detroit techno and house music. His first steps in his DJ career started behind a pair of turntables at a local youth club in his hometown. After 20 years of rocking dancefloors with his energetic sets he now put his focus on his own musical creations that he plays in his livesets (and occasional rare DJ sets). Cosinus is signed to Sangoma Records and released tracks besides his homebase on well known lables within the scene. In 2015 he released his first EP “Mudulated Frequencies” followed the year after by his 2nd EP “Sacred Mirrors” and compiled Ironic Creatures and Ironic Cultures with DJ Izzy on Sangoma. So far he played in Germany, Austria, USA, Switzerland,Netherlands,France,Serbia,Mexico His sound can be described as epic pumping, jumping and snarling forest psytrance – a fusion between nighttime psychedelic and deep foresty atmospheres. His story fits perfectly to the early hours of the morning as well as the middle of the night – powerful music to tune on heads. An artist that shouldn’t be missed at any party.
