The Legend of the Spaceboy was once a fairy tale told to children, a story that grew into folklore among the ever-expanding space-bound population. It was understood to be fiction—until the day a boy from a thriving colony on Mars discovered it was a prophecy. One that he was forced to fulfill.

Overwhelmed by the immense responsibility placed upon him, the boy failed disastrously, dividing his planet between those who saw him as a failed savior and those who deemed him a lunatic. To prevent civil war, the opposing sides agreed on one shared conviction: the boy himself. He was cast off the planet—not executed, out of pity—but exiled to find a new home.

As contact with his ship was lost, the people of Mars continued to tell his story. They embellished it as they ventured farther into the universe, discovering traces of their exiled savior's presence. His tale began to spread from planet to planet, and slowly, it transcended myth.

He became much more than just a tall tale. 

He became a legend.
