Born in North York, Toronto, Michelle developed a passion for music at an early age. This passion deepened when she discovered underground dance music, captivated by the vibrant culture, and the art of mixing records. What started as a simple love for music soon became an all-consuming obsession. Michelle began collecting crates of house records before teaching herself to mix on a pair of mismatched turntables back in 2004. After years of perseverance, she had become a prominent figure in the music community, establishing herself as one of the first women to break new ground and pave the way for female talent locally.

Today, Michelle C stands at the forefront of Canada's electronic music scene earning recognition through international labels spanning Russia, London, and Amsterdam. Whether producing original tracks or crafting remixes, her goal remains the same: to channel raw emotion into rhythm and sound, creating an energetic force that connects with the mind, body, and soul. 

Her innovative sound has gained support from global heavyweights like Roger Sanchez, Robert Feelgood, Framewerk, and David Herrero, having featured releases on labels with DJ Dan, Sonny Fodera, Axwell, Groovebox, Erick Morillo, Stefano Noferini, and Huxley, with previous guest appearances on Tulum Radio and Tunnel FM in London.

Michelle C has a diverse and undisputed talent for melding between every type and style of music, showing unparalleled versatility. Although categorized as a House DJ, (deep; jazzy; funky; tribal; progressive; techno) she has been known to shake dance floors with anything from big room trance to driving drum & bass. Michelle's unique ear for sound, along with diverse track selection, and energetic build, has elevated Michelle as a DJ, transforming tranquil dance floors.

Michelle C has performed alongside artists such as Morgan Page, Donald Glaude, Infected Mushroom, REZZ, Starkillers, Josh Gabriel (Gabriel & Dresden), Spencer & Hill, Desert Dwellers, Kytami & Phonik Ops, JFB, Stickybuds, SkiiTour, DJ Czech, Will Bailey, Glitchy & Scratchy, A-Sides, Moka Only (Swollen Members), DJ Numark, Subvert, Deko-ze, Johnny Fiasco, DJ Heather, Sydney Blu, Mark Knight, and Hatiras, Juno Award winner for Dance Recording of the Year in 2006.

With an undeniable presence and an ever-evolving sound, Michelle C continues to push boundaries, using music as a powerful medium. Her music is more than just a collection of beats, it’s a sonic journey that moves people.

With roots in Romania, a musical awakening in England, and a home in Austin, Alex Oniga creates deep, emotive mixes that invite you to slow down, tune in, and get lost in the flow.
Influenced by long nights, low lights, and the energy of the underground, his mixes speak in textures, subtle, layered, and meant to linger.

Italian based imprint Moan Recordings, was born at the end of 2011 from the idea of two friends Clausen and Kaschant. Moan is focused on House and Tech House, with Funky, Minimal, and Techno influences. It's tasteful music made for maximum enjoyment on the dancefloor by some of the most interesting artists of the underground scene. Charted and played by the most respectful djs such as Loco Dice, Ricardo Villalobos, Marco Carola, Matthias Tanzmann just to name few. All the projects brings different artists together to get a creative music style, a new musical concept, inspiration, emotions, feelings and high quality dance tunes, in one word : MOAN.
