Svogue Muziq label is back with its first 2016 release and is a hot one. 
“Supervisors” EP comes courtesy of Barcelona-based italian DJ & producer Matteo Floris who’s also the label A&R and co-owner. 
This 3tracker EP shows off Matteo’s funk and breaks influences coming from his bboying dancer side and his passion for hip hop culture roots. 

‘Aus Check’ opens the release and is a pure groovy house jam 100% dancefloor dedicated. Displays Matteo’s skills at vocal sampling and rhythm building, two involving breakdowns mixed between a chunky drums line and a fat bass. 
‘Supervisors’ is a collaboration with the Chicago native Kid Enigma (Rafael Perez) well known for his top note lyrics and already with releases on Dj Sneak’s I’m A House Gangster and other wicked labels. 
This joint is a drums rocker, sexy and heavy at the same time. Here again some vocal sampling before the main lyric drops with the moog bass and the trip starts, all combined with hot pitched sounds and fxs. 
‘Soul Shaker’ is the simplest track of the EP and maybe the strongest one. Grouping all main elements from the other two tunes (sampling, bass, refined synth sounds) shows more pressure and tension on the breakdowns releasing all the power when the bassline drops together with that raw and solid groove. 

Matteo’s profile is rising of late, with is last works, great feedbacks from top djs and his forthcoming stuff on: Material Series, Elrow Music, Low Steppa’s label Simma Red, Daylight Robbery Records, Sam Divine’s label D-Vine Sounds + others tba soon.

Ibiza resident and darling of the White Isle, Davina Moss returns once more to Hot Creations. Having released on Jamie and Lee’s imprint in 2015, Moss returns with two original cuts whilst Cuartero supplies the remix.

Oh Mama opens with tribal rhythms and a driving energy set against the enticing vocals of Issa Elle while Like A Proper Star concludes with a dynamism and groove reminiscent of Ibiza’s hedonistic parties.
Best Newcomer at the DJ Mag Awards in 2015, Cuartero transforms Oh Mama into an after party dream drenched in rolling drums. The Spanish DJ and producer is no stranger to Hot Creations having previously released twice on the label.

Davina Moss has been producing and DJing for over a decade with a musical career that has allowed her to travel the world and release on a variety of labels, including ViVA Music, Pacha Recordings, Upon You and Do Not Sleep among others.

His accolades also count two DJ Awards for Best Newcomer and Track Of The Season for Forget, as well as DJ Mag’s Best Tune in their Best of British Awards. Producer and vocalist Kevin Knapp delivers his killer new single Blah Blah Blah, returning to the Hot Creations fold after last years vocal feature on Jamie Jones’ Positive Pressure. Here, Jamie returns the favour, partnering with another label favourite, Detlef, to supply a monster of a remix.

Finding time in his hectic schedule of touring the world, running various record labels and his Paradise parties, Jamie Jones teams up with one of his Paradise residents Detlef to deliver an audacious remix, perfect for the twilight hours. Hardy percussion, acid blips and pulses meld together to form a bolshy, no-frills remix. Greek artist Detlef shot into the limelight in recent years with releases and remixes on labels like Hot Creations, Relief, Knee Deep In Sound, Moon Harbour, and Defected.

Kevin Knapp gained attention with a string collaborations with Audiojack (Gruuv, 2012), Matt Tolfrey (Leftroom, 2012) and his debut Hot Creations cut with Richy Ahmed (2013).
