Jay Faleye otherwise known as Tantrum Desire, is an electronic producer/DJ from London, UK. His love and passion for Drum & Bass music escalated since the early 2000s and has remained strong ever since.

In late 2006, Tantrum Desire released tracks such as “Dreamscape” on Heavyweight Records. His music attracted many peers which followed onto DJ’ing at residential clubs in London, also receiving air time support from Kiss FM, BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra. By late 2007, he was then picked up by Drumsound & Basslinesmith and signed to their very own Technique Recordings. 

Since then, the Londoner has had many releases leading up to his successful worldwide anthem "Reach" in 2011. An explosive single hitting over a million views on YouTube, holding the Number #1 spot on Beatport for over a month and being one of the most supported singles in the Drum & Bass scene. This received great support from  Radio presenters and DJs such as Zane Lowe, Fearne Cotton, Fabio & Grooverider, Annie Mac, Pendulum, Andy C, Benga & Skream, Sub Focus plus more. 

Dividing his studio time, Tantrum Desire has been busy with his live shows throughout the years, touring in many cities across the UK, Europe, USA and Australia. 
In addition to this he has affiliated with labels such as Universal Island Records, Ministry of Sound, 3beat, with also building a history in high demand remixes for likes of The Wanted, Laidback Luke, Rusko, Matrix & Futurebound, Wideboys, Utah Saints, the list goes on. 

In 2015, Tantrum Desire released his single "Oblivion" featuring vocals from Solah, selected as one of UKF’s Top tracks of the year and hitting over a million views with a Music Video on YouTube, filmed whilst Tantrum Desire performed in-front of 30,000 at “Rampage” in Belgium. The single was taken from his critically acclaimed debut album “Diversified” which was then released in the summer on 2015. The LP went in the Top 10 release charts on Beatport and was nominated “Best Album” at the Bass Music Awards in London which was sponsored by Sony. TD supported the album with international tours, performing at clubs and festivals such as Glastonbury, Beats For Love, Bassrush, EXIT Festival, Boomtown, EDC Las Vegas, Fabric London, The Avalon in Hollywood, Shambhala Festival in Canada, plus more. Moving on to 2016, Tantrum Desire was once again nominated at the Official “Drum & Bass Arena Awards” in London for “Best Remix” for DJ Frictions “Bring it Back” Ft. Stylo G. 

In 2019, Tantrum Desire released one of his biggest songs titled “Unleashed”, becoming one of the most rotated tracks in the Drum & Bass scene to this present day, whilst bringing in millions of streams on Spotify. Following this, Tantrum Desire continued to draw worldwide attention with many singles and a 2 part Album titled “The Flow”. In early 2024, TD then released his dancefloor anthem “Cluster” on UKF’s 15 year celebration album, shooting straight into Beatport’s Overall Top 100 chart.

The future is bright for the fact that Tantrum Desire has become one of the most exciting production outfits to date, with the fire to innovate and take things to the next level.

Outside The Drop was an idea that came from a birthday party in the woods. The idea was to provide an outlet of media that was beyond the ordinary. To look past the break downs and "sick drops", we prefer high energy dance music for every occasion. Originally we started with a strong emphasis on hard dance. Since then we've opened up to a plethora of dance and rave music. In the future we plan on teaching our residents how to produce so we can begin to put out our own music. For now please enjoy the hours of recorded mixes that we have gathered! Thank you for giving us a peek, stay tuned for quality dance music.

Bio: Jen Mas has been an integral part of the NYC rave scene since the mid-90s. She became internationally known for her mastery of the turntables and being one of the leading ladies of Hardcore Techno in the US. She founded Vitus in '99 with some of her closest friends who shared the same passion for the underground scene. She's rocked shows across the continent, spreading the love of Hardcore in a region where it's remained far from mainstream. These days you’ll catch her playing many different styles, as she can throw down a proper set of any genre from House and Techno to Hip Hop and Old Skool. Her creative mixing, scratching and energetic stage presence has made her a standout among the many artists of the industry. She'll mix music from yesterday and today along with original edits and tracks, making every set fun and unpredictable. No matter what style she plays, her goal is simple: to bring people together through music!
