What began in 2005 in a small basement evolved into a lifelong mission.
Organizing pre-parties for friends became the foundation where the pure art of DJing was learned, vinyl only, fueled by passion and curiosity.

Within a few years, that dedication did not go unnoticed. Opportunities followed to perform in Belgium’s most iconic hardcore venues of the era, including the legendary Kabarka and Cherry Moon. What started in the underground rapidly expanded, from intimate gatherings to major stages.

Now, with over two decades of experience, Madnezz has faced some of the most devoted crowds in the scene, performing at renowned festivals such as The Qontinent, Harmony of Hardcore, Nature One Festival, Ground Zero Festival, Army of Hardcore and many more.

Beyond the stage, the journey extended deeply into music production. Remixes were crafted for hardcore heavyweights like Angerfist, Tha Playah and Buzz Fuzz, alongside collaborations with influential artists including DJ Yves (Club X), DJ Bass (Danger Hardcore Team), Alex B, Darkcontroller, Fnoize, System Overload and others who helped shape the sound of a generation.

Driven by independence and creative control, Madnezz later founded his own label, a platform built to develop, host and support a roster of 15 artists, pushing sound, identity and artistic freedom forward.

In 2025, the journey enters a new chapter.
Madnezz continues to produce New Millennium Hardcore, Early Hardcore, and Downtempo, while under the alias Cøntrl, he explores the darker, hypnotic realms of Hard Techno.

Twenty years deep. Still moving forward.

 
In a previous life this artist was known under a name connected to a track who became way to commercial. 
That is the main reason he decided to change his name this year and start all over again in the underground scene.
Creating a deep, dark sound sometimes adding it
to classics or commercial tracks to make them 
accessible in his live sets. 
His own productions are dark techno tracks that are minimalistic mostly never released but 1OO% proof floor fillers.
Because he hates labeling music S.O.D believes there is good and bad music in every style! S.O.D only knows 2 labels!
