talented Vhyce who has been on our radar for a while now. With a very personal and
flavourful style he comes straight from Belgium but with Portuguese and Italian blood.
Sincopat  Big  Kahuna AFFKT remixes the timeless 'Ordinary Thoughts', the track that
titles the EP.
To start this trip we have Ordinary Thoughts, a timeless piece of music that includes
two versions, the original with a stunning melody that will leave you speechless and a
more raw and crunchy acid version, both versions will make you travel without moving
at the same time you can not stop dancing. AFFKT has reinterpreted the two versions
in the same remix with the energy that he has accustomed us, we are sure that it will
give goosebumps to more than one. 
We continue with Many faces, another great song from beginning to end, its hypnotic
bass and etheric leads will make you lose sense of time and space.
And finally we have Something In The Air in which Vhyce looks again for the perfect
groove, an authentic atmospheric experience to the deepest part of his sound universe
and that adds the perfect icing to a well rounded EP.

Tief Music mainstays Sisterhood release their second EP for the label following up their hugely successful 'Call Me Ishmael' released back in 2013. Tunnels features three original tracks showing the London based duo's versatility and maturity as producers. The EP kicks off with 'Doublespeak', a hard-hitting peak time track, filled with arpeggiated synths and dubbed out FX. 'Tunnels' is deep and sparse, slowly building throughout its 7 minute run. Bicep reconstruct the title track, morphing it into a punchy, bassline focused roller with piercing atmospheric pads. 'Believe' closes the EP, a dreamy, sample based track utilizing beautiful floating chords to great effect.

In turbulent times Berliner Dave DK takes the chance to add his “swell“ to Ebrahimi's track För Henne and comes up with a hard hitting wave of sounds that he easily leads into smooth waters. With the first release for Turbolenz Swedish producer Ebrahimi delivers a two original tracks, We Love Music and the initially named För Henne. While Turbolenz head Philipp Lenz alias Delenz sprinkles his fairy dust on the firstly mentioned track, Pampa mainstay Dave DK runs deep on För Henne, again and as always creating a melancholic-vibing-waving remix approach that hits the zeitgeist as it touches and picks up the listener at an emotional level without dithering. Dave DK adds slightly more organic and hence more percussive elements to the track and implements his characteristic soundscapes in the sub-texture or DNA of the track. An analogue cracking vinyl sound is superimposed and adds this nostalgic vibe which certainly refreshes the aforementioned melancholia.

Damian Lazarus presents ‘Mountain’ - the opening single from his first solo album for over 10 years.

Released on the 24th July, ‘Mountain’ is a fusion of darkness and light circumnavigating the outer edges of the dance floor. Complete with a Balearic infused remix from Tornado Wallace and deep-chugging transcendental Tibi Dabo Remix to throw the arc wider still. This new body of work, written and recorded by Lazarus at home in Italy during lockdown, is entitled ‘Flourish” and will be released on the 4th September on Crosstown Rebels.

Hailing from Sicily, his impact on the melodic landscape is far reaching, including his collab with Phunkadelica “Babilonia” on Innervisions staying in the Beatport Deep House No1 top-spot for 5 weeks! True to form he doesn’t disappoint here, taking “Torpedo” on a warpy club journey, proving that melodic depth and house music can have a beautiful relationship when crafted by a master.

Completing the EP we have something entirely different. “Melabufa” wouldn’t be out of place on the Drive soundtrack, its synth serving an 80s feel that transports to neon lights, fast highways and late-night adventures.
