Australia’s Luke Alessi is on an upward trajectory, having released on Still Vor Talent, A Tribe Called Kotori, and now back for his 2nd release on Mobilee. This 2-Track EP with the lead single “Matter” further cements his journey; a hotly tipped quality production that is set to bring Luke’s message further to the worldwide stage, as he joins forces with the legendary Stereo MC’s on vocals, who also head up the successful dance label Connected and have a career spanning nearly 30 years. Remix on the lead is coming from Innervisions/Connected artist, Aaaron, who's on the up after his release on Dixon's Transmoderna imprint last year. 

“Matter” combines a powerful and poignant lead that evolves alongside Stereo MC’s atmospheric and soft vocal story; travelling together through dazzling heights and grooving rhythmic states, an enjoyable enveloping experience throughout.

Berlin’s Aaaron takes “Matter” on an alternative path, giving the instruments a whole new space, bringing the vocal message to the fore in a smooth and sultry underground interpretation.

“Tills Theme” completes the EP with a similarly uplifting melodic tale with arpeggiated leads and twisting elements that we have come to expect from Luke’s already developed signature sound, this time reminiscent of parties deep within the dust or on a palm fringed shore.

We are proud to present you our 35th release. For this release we have the very talented Casual Affair duo delivering an outstanding 2 track EP.

This 2 man live-act project was born after many hours in the studio together and a number of collaborations. The pair struck a musical connection and found themselves at the beginning of a collaborative journey. The name organically formed off the back of what was then to be a self-titled debut EP, Casual Affairs, a down tempo yet danceable record with modern, yet futuristic nostalgia. This EP was released on Rob Made's Sleazy Deep imprint and boasts remixes from the likes of Balcazar & Sordo, Raffa FL and Max Chapman. With a sense of direction now in place, it was time to get to work and begin experimenting even further together. Casual Affair are not afraid to dip their feet into any genre for inspiration. With an intricate workflow consisting of live recording of all drums and percussion, analogue synthesis along with deep and fitting vocals from Andrew, the dynamic of Casual Affair is hard to come by. This duo have already secured releases on; Motek, PetFood and Sleezy Deep. 

They deliver this great 2 track EP where it is all about the overall vibe and drive. The "The Calling" track is a more slow, moody, laid back track that shows their production skills and originality. Where the "Equinox" track is more uptempo and more build around the drive and vibe with smart synth work. We think this one is big!

In what is the first official release for hotly-tipped APNOEA, mobilee is delighted to present “Why We Breathe”.

APNOEA came to attention after remixing long standing mobilee pal, Timo Maas, and as we delve a little deeper into their story, it’s not hard to see why. Already renowned as DJs and Live artists in their own incarnations with sets at Berghain and Cocoon, APNOEA’s components combine into 40 years of studio experience, resulting in expertly crafted music that tells a story.

Kicking off their debut EP, “Why We Breathe” squelches and saunters through a gratifying underground club groover that lays down a unique first step. 

“Moodivation” demonstrates their subtler side, with emotional elements that transport the listener into APNOEA’s fresh new world, full of hope. The Come Closer remix is a soft and melancholy rework that demonstrates just some of the scope across their wide range.
