Dustin Zahn makes his album debut in March 2014 with the release of Monoliths on Adam Beyer's Drumcode label. Gestating over a period of a four years during break from releasing original solo material, Monoliths sees the Minneapolis native capturing the full breadth of his production style in the long-player format for the first time. Having become a mainstay of the Drumcode line-ups for their Berghain residency and beyond, the challenge was set for the Berlin-based Zahn to build upon the reputation he has established in the past decade-and-a-half since he first arrived on the scene, during which time he has also given a platform to artists such as DVS1, Minilogue, Psyk and Truncate via his Enemy Records imprint. 
"Adam Beyer has supported me since day one and almost all of my output has found its' way into his sets since the beginning. Aside from being a champion of my music, he has also become a good friend and has been a big help to me when times were tough. Drumcode was a major influence on me when I first started getting into techno. Getting the opportunity to do an album for an inspirational label with a massive following made choosing them an easy decision." 
The bracing retro-futurist synths of 1984 tease what's to follow: epic, ambitious, raw real techno - as imperious as the album title implies and impeccably designed for the tallest speaker stacks. When the record is at its most dancefloor-focused each cut is an amalgamation of classic techno elements that encapsulate the genre at its most uncompromising, though Zahn's skill as a producer shines through in his ability to demonstrate the range contained within this aesthetic. Whilst embodying the genre's purity of purpose, Monoliths is still able to find and explore different sonic palettes. 
"The overall tone is noticeably a bit more industrial and colder since it was written over a brutal winter in Berlin. It also marks my return to a heavy emphasis on hardware for a more raw sound. A lot of producers try to show their range on albums by writing music that isn't necessarily their strong point. In result, you get a lot of albums with mediocre 'listening' tracks and a couple of token 'club bangers' that should have just been destined for an EP anyway. I decided that I was going to focus on my strengths and write a full-on techno album that sums up my career so far."

French-born, Geneva-based Lee van Dowski has long been a pioneering force in the global tech house scene. As a key member of the Cadenza family he has had countless seminal releases on labels like Rekids, Soma, Bpitch Control, Wagon Repair and Intacto and here he turns up on Anja Schneider's Mobilee with a new four tracker that reasserts his unique style. It is a collaborative EP made alongside Malta producer Dean Demanuele, who has ties to Bedrock and Mobilee amongst other labels.

'The Impossible' is a crisp bit of loopy tech with a great spoken word vocal sample. The rolling kicks prop up cute synth vamps and you can see this one getting caned on terraces everywhere this summer.

'Crossing The T' is a similarly tracky affair designed for some serious dancing. The wooden kicks keep on coming as turbo charged bass notes drive things along. It's hypnotic and invitingly repetitive before 'Put Your Shoes On' follows a more upright and urgent path. Here juddery claps and drunken synth sounds tease and please in equal measure. Finally, 'Inside Out' is the deepest offering of the lot, with plinky plonk percussion, raw hand claps and a deep, elastic baseline that brings plenty of energy to the mix.

Once again here Mobilee serve up the infectious dancefloor goods from a pair of talents old and new that really excel together.

Featuring several other music projects (Once Upon a Time, Samodelia, idmt), he works in collaboration with producers and musicians such as Moshic, Kintar, Micromattic, Skiller, Surbahar, Elitsa Todorova & Stoyan Yankoulov, Nambient, Aura Rascon, Milena Sergueeva, Veselin Mitev, Orlin Cvetanov... His releases for labels over the world - Electric Dream, Contrast, Iboga, Blue hour sounds Tribal Vision, ChillOm, Iboga Mexico, Soultribe, YSE, Absolutive, Sofa Beats - made up his name as one of the best acts from Bulgaria, with gigs across many clubs and festivals in Europe and world's progressive and scene. Along the electronic works, he is often involved in movie productions as music composer and/or sound engineer - audio for 3d outdoor video mapping projections, music for contemporary dance performances, movie score etc.

Mila Stern’s far over a decade-long career as a DJ and producer has taken her from squat parties in Halle (eastern Germany), where she first learned her craft, through the pulsing motley of Tel Aviv, to her adopted home of Berlin and the epicenter of electronic club culture. Her calm, commanding skill as a selector rapidly made her a sought-after artist, with regular appearances at premier festivals like Fusion, Nation of Gondwana, and Garbicz, and residencies at Berlin’s legendary Kater Club and Station Endlos in Halle. Since then, she’s transcended the boundaries of the Berlin underground, bringing her signature style to the international circuit from Mexico to Kazakhstan. Mila delivers a groove-heavy aesthetic that has recently shifted toward deeper, more focused energies — drawing on restrained propulsion, textured sound design, and subtly evolving rhythms. Her selections now balance minimalism and intensity, rooted in the hypnotic but never stuck in genre constraints. What sets her apart is a willingness to embrace unorthodox sonic spaces, explore the beauty in harshness and dissonance, and embed arresting moments in robust, rolling substructures. From her early days, Mila’s sound has been shaped by a sense of counterculture and the urge to break normative boundaries. Her DJ sets — especially long-form closings — encapsulate a vision of rave culture as expressive, eclectic, and non-judgmental. She continues to draw on risqué, narrative-driven tracks and boldly carves out new territory without compromise — even as the context around her evolves. As a DJ, producer, event organizer, former radio host, and label co-founder, she pushes the envelope while rejecting genre dogma. In 2025, Mila co-founded the label MiZi MuZiK with long-time friend and collaborator Mira—a platform shaped by their shared values of autonomy and artistic integrity. While the label and Mila’s current musical direction follow distinct paths, both are rooted in a deep belief in sound that speaks for itself. Few artists balance deep floor energy with such artistic clarity. Mila Stern continues to evolve her sound while remaining grounded in a rave ethos that challenges paradigms and makes space for what lies ahead.

"I recorded this mix ahead of my set at Detect Classic Festival 2025, and it’s a good snapshot of where I’m at musically right now. It’s deep, hypnotic, groove-driven — somewhere between movement and atmosphere. Even though it’s a podcast, these are all tracks I’d absolutely play in a club or at a festival. They just have that extra layer that works in both contexts: headphones and dance floors.
