We are thrilled to present "STOP" remixes, masterful reworks of selected tracks from Squire's debut album. Whilst "STOP" documented a time of inner reflection during lockdown, the new remixes give a different take on these unique sounds - for the now, and for the future.

Berlin based producer Emanuel Satie has left many a dance floor imprint with work on Cocoon and Crosstown amongst others. His rework of "You Make Me Feel Alive" is a stripped-back moody club mover, where his interpretation of original elements are left to breathe whilst still transporting the listener to a smoke filled room.

Kadosh is well versed in delivering an epic on his own imprint Frau Blau Music. He takes Rachel Bachman's vocal story and twists it into a haunting ethereal tale where they join a cacophony of melodic subtlety ready to soundtrack a world of experiences. 

Completing this selection of stalwart remixers come Disco Halal head-honcho Moscoman alongside Tel Aviv's OMRI. take an altogether different spin on "Salvation", where powerful synth and unostentatious percussion delivers a straight-up and unique understanding of Pilar Icazuriaga's lyrics.

Australia's fasting rising talent "Luke Alessi" continues his trajectory with a second standalone EP on mobilee. We loved his "Matter" EP and Squire "Hundred Falls" Remix so much, they were featured on our Totally Mobilee 2021 and Mobilee Rooftop Summer 2021 compilations.

We have no doubt that "Nothingness" and "Molecular Motions" will similarly become part of our continued soundscape.

"Nothingness" delivers a true journey through Luke's already signature sound. A vocal story leads the way, whilst unique instruments interplay and drive the pace into crescendos and through moments of understated euphoria.

"Molecular Motions" kicks straight into a dreamy and rhythmic dance experience powered by worldly drums, where you hear a glimpse of an alternate plane through word, song, and emotion.

A new artist collective will be gracing the nightlife scene this April, as five of melodic dance music’s leading talents combine their efforts under a single, unified banner. Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and Yulia Niko make up Scenarios, the collective, record label and event series. The label’s inaugural release takes the form of the two-track Here To Stay EP. The first instalment sees three of the five members collaborate on Here To Stay, a meandering, emotionally-charged offering packed full of poignant chords and textured drum patterns throughout. It feels introspective and danceable in one, paving the way for a similarly moving number in the form of You & I, Paradise. This time DUDDHA’s mesmeric vocals create an achingly beautiful soundscape, one that winds with a gentle lucidity through resonant synths and a driving lead bassline. Individually, they are known as Maga, Sean Doron, Yulia Niko, Tim Engelhardt and Emanuel Satie, each of whom are established performers in their own right. Together, they become Scenarios. Their mantra is simple: to create and implement a unique genre of music, one that offers an unparalleled event experience. As a collective, their beliefs and outlooks are shared - allowing them to truly grow as one whilst maintaining their individuality as independent artists. Born in France and now based in Portugal, Maga’s discography boasts releases on some of dance music's most widely recognised labels, including Flying Circus and Get Physical. Produced by founding Scenarios crew members MAGA, Sean Doron, Emanuel Satie & Tim Engelhardt, the featuring artists make their combined intentions known from the outset, conjuring an uncompromising blend of hypnotic kicks, whirring synth lines and exquisitely layered samples. A refined production with a mesmerising groove that drives the record across its duration, Side By Side captivates from the off and sees the four Scenarios artists add to the label’s flourishing catalogue with yet another seismic dancefloor weapon.

The release of Side By Side comes just one week ahead of Scenarios’ huge showcase event in Tulum on Friday, January 20, where Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and a very special guest (TBA) will descend on a Jungle Cenote in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula for a truly memorable party to kickstart the New Year.

2015 will see German techno mainstay Stephan Bodzin ready to unleash his next full-length musical vision on the world. Entitled “Powers of Ten”, the 10-track album will land in June 2015 on his own Herzblut Recordings and provides another great insight into the melodically rich muscle mind of this modern great.
Says Stephan Bodzin of the LP: “Powers of Ten has been with me all my life and is named after a book that has been my background hiss, its confusing truth is my only real faith and its infinity shows me its finiteness. The album is about harmonies, melodies, rhythms. It is an homage to Bob Moog, full of techno beats and sounds and space and party and ecstasy and dancing and listening, and crying and feeling. It is a journey, a philosophy of life, a view of the world, a vague perception. It is my wife, my children, my family, my friends, my passion, my enemy, my greatest fulfillment, my fear, my deepest peace, my power, all my love.”
As such, this album is hugely personal and is filled with cerebral messages and well thought out concepts. All this shines through and makes it an all the more engaging listen from start to finish. Kicking off with the spine tingling chords and louche beats of ‘Singularity’ cuts like ‘Lila’ then continue to confirm that Stephan Bodzin has a classical understanding of melody that is way beyond your average.
‘Blue Giant’, ‘Wir’ and ‘Ix’ all manage to be uplifting and thoughtful at the same time as driven and groovy, whilst ‘Birth’ comes on with a hymnal high note, long tailed pads and subtly shifting beats. The ghostly grooves of ‘Zulu’ mark a majestic mid point to the album, which then continues to seduce with spiritual synths and more beautiful melodies on cuts like ‘Odyssee’ as well as the album’s standout title track.
Unfolding coherently and in soothing fashion, this album once again proves that few producers in the modern world have a knack for melody and an ear for sonic ingenuity quite like Stephan Bodzin.
