Kevin Huizing is a Tilburg based music producer/dj. Coming from a very musical family, it was only a matter of time before young Budakid started playing an instrument of his own. As a drummer in a drum ensemble, the soon-to-be producer/dj got his first taste of beats and he wanted more. Having a good sense of rhythm helped him as a fledgling dj. Before long, Budakid landed his first residency in one of Utrecht’s most popular clubs. Although he wasn’t of legal age, several clubs asked him to perform and Budakid showed his promise by measuring up to peers twice his age.

Patrick Bodmer, also known as M.A.N.D.Y., has seen the best of what the electronic music scene has to offer in his two-decade career.

He grew up in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, when the German techno scene of the 90s was blossoming with the influence of Detroit techno and the UK’s acid house. With momentum quickly growing, Patrick’s passion for music was taking the lead in his career, so he quit his other day jobs and moved to Berlin where he started the labels ‘Get Physical’ and ‘Kindisch’ together with DJ T. and Booka Shade. Together, they produced tracks such as the remake of “O Superman” in collaboration with Laurie Anderson, as well as “Body Language” in 2005, which became the pinnacle of the newly named genre “Electro House”.

With the fast-growing discography (including remixes for Royksopp, The Knife, Tracy Thorn, Mathew Dear, Damian Lazarus, Miss Kittin, Black Coffee, etc.) and the signing of new artists, M.A.N.D.Y. created an abundance of original music that crossed the house and techno genres.

M.A.N.D.Y. created their own event series and performed at festivals around the world, such as Glastonbury, Coachella, and Loveparade, with residencies at Watergate and KaterBlau, Fabric, Privilege, Amnesia, Pascha, etc. Compilations and podcasts for the likes of Fabric, Renaissance, and the BBC1 “Essential Mix” followed after. London-born artist N1NJA debuts on Mobilee Records with a mesmerising melodic techno offering, ‘A Frequency Illusion’.

Described by DJ Mag as a ‘mega-talented, fast-rising star’, DJ, podcaster and producer N1NJA, whose real name is Farah Nanji, is heavily influenced by her roots from the Indian and African subcontinents, which come together in her DJ sets and productions, the latest of which is for the Mobilee imprint. “Based on the Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, ‘A Frequency Illusion’ is a hypnotic progressive techno track
that draws inspiration from the elusive, mysterious nature of ninjas and how sound can alter the perception of
time and space” - N1NJA.
The title track 'A Frequency Illusion' is a spellbinding ride through euphoric soundscapes that transport the
listener to a starry landscape. Glistening synth leads, soaring pads and organic percussion coalesce in a
hypnotising fashion that mirrors the fluidity of a ninja.
Next up, ‘London Blues’ is a slow-blooming cut that ventures into sparser electronic territories. Cavernous
bass stabs and tribal drums are guided by a clean blues guitar lead that ebbs and flows between the intricate
pockets of space, making for a moving finale inspired by the streets of London.
Farah’s impact extends beyond her artistic endeavours; her TEDx Talk on overcoming neurodiversity as a
musician and interviews with industry heavyweights like Carl Cox and Alan Fitzpatrick on her number one
podcast series Mission Makers have shed light on much of the underground music scene’s biggest
misconceptions.
This is an artfully crafted release that showcases the depth of N1NJA’s sound palette, ‘A Frequency Illusion’ is
released on Mobilee on 7th April 2023.

Beyond the incredible venue, production, and beautiful collection of humans, there were three things that made set this extra special for me: opening the room to an empty dance floor, having the DJ booth in the center of the room, and playing the most original music I’ve played in a set. 

I rarely get to build a room from zero anymore, so I took great pleasure in playing records early on that are subtler, slowly building tension as people trickled into the venue. Having the booth in the center made it much easier for me to sense what the people sonically needed as the night progressed - we all were locked in for the last hour. 

I also blended the ambient room sounds with the mixer output capture the spirit of the night. You’ll hear the excitement of the crowd match the energy crescendo. When I listen to the set, it almost feels like I’m transported back to the party. 

It a very special gig, and I’m grateful to Robot Heart for having me play.

VRIDIAN, an electronic music project by DJ, musician and producer Vir RC, is an homage to journeys. Rooted in dance music, VRIDIAN’s catchy grooves are balanced by dreamy atmospheres as parts of the intricate puzzles that make up his tracks. Mirroring his work as a producer, his versatility as a DJ shines through. With a fan following that can fill up any dance floor in the country, VRIDIAN finds inspiration in spaces that grant the freedom to oscillate from laidback to party effortlessly. Equal parts groovy and hypnotic, the name has become a regular feature in the dance music scene.
Inspired by a wide range of musical influences, VRIDIAN has released music on imprints such as Manjumasi, Traum Schallplatten & Qilla Records. A high point in the production journey came in 2022 with a vinyl release for his collaborative EP ‘Instant Transmission’ with Atish. A testament to his international reach and the quality of his productions is the fact that his work has been remixed by Map.Ache, Mihai Popoviciu, Clarian, Tim Engelhardt, Christopher Ledger. Having been a fixture in the Indian electronic music scene for a while, he was the curator of the prestigious music stage at the Serendipity Arts Festival in 2022 and led the B-side Residency that same year.
After having played as a DJ at some of the biggest festivals in the country - VH1 Supersonic, Earthen Vol. 1, Gaia Festival - he is debuting his live set at Magnetic Fields in 2023. Continuing on his path as an artist who looks at the bigger picture, he recently launched his IP “Don’t Feed the Animals” in Delhi and plans to continue curating similar parties where the visuals and sounds are driven conceptually.
