Next up on Madorasindahouse Records, a release that has been long-awaited since its first plays on Ibiza dancefloors the past summer. Kasango’s “One Night” is a club anthem featuring the unique vocals of the prominent Jamie Fallon Smith that has already been played in the biggest clubs in the world, and featured in Black Coffee’s “Music Is King” Compilation. Tagging along, &lez and FKA Mash deliver two remixes that will surely stick to many playlists aiming for the dancefloor, while an acoustic version is wrapping things up for all the romantic souls out there.

As another pair of soulful musical expression and its reinterpretation
broadens MoBlack Records' catalog, the label adds another dense
layer to its already complex and rich carapace. L.A. based indieelectronic band Dear Humans, jumps on the afro house label's ship,
traversing a trajectory that stretches both the label's and artist's
breadth, and depth. Kidogo starts off cushioned in coarse earthy
elements, swiftly careened by a simple, steady bass line and budding
percussion. As the narrative sprouts and the marriage of melody and
rhythm illuminates, a colorful cornucopia becomes visible to sensory
capacities beyond the naked eye, narrated by emotional ejection as
delivered by Alex's vocal prowess: "when another one close the door,
see, we are opening up one more
"One more..." Italian duo Armonica returns to the label with their
reimagination of Alex & Corey's centerpiece, brushing a bit of
ruggedness and dancefloor sense and percipience from their tenure
in both DJing and production. Never losing grip of the vim and vigor
at the original's core, Armonica's remix, more tenacious in speed,
ambitious in timbre, enhances Kidogo's mobility and moves freely
into all doors unlocked by bodies in the state of dance.

Mòo & Jo return to Mobilee keeping their ethos of traditional African instruments with a deep and melodic house aesthetic close to the forefront.

What strikes you first about “Munuli” are the jazz tinged vocals of Awen, delivering an almost ethereal sound; that brings to mind worship and fervour as the chorus join for a peaking vocal melody which transcends genre with it’s authentic and standout messaging.

The stripped back drums provide a melodic tribal tempo that lends itself to anytime of day or night, for one of those rare and perfect uplifting dance floor moments.

The other elements at play interweave themselves with Awen's vocals, building into a beautiful crescendo that isn’t often found in clubs today; the raw melodic synthesizer meets a classic piano, giving a flashback to a classic sound with heartfelt chords and creating a track that will both stand the test of time, and provide an honest reflection of what people want to dance to in 2020.

The EP then concludes with “Expand”. It delivers an altogether different story, an energetic and suspense filled peak-time melodic journey; whose spoken word story encourages you to “Expand your mind, free yourself”. Needless to say, this energy coupled with the growling sultry bass of “Expand” ensures that it will be finding its way into the bag of the most discerning club selectors this Spring.

Native P (Periklis Lazaris) graces the label with his first release under the label. Enlisting Fellow Label Artist Shredder SA (Timothy Xihlangu) on a powerful two-track release.

Both enlist their skills with very diverse rhythms but compliment the same eerie vibe and style for the 2 track CD. 'Horror' leads the way with the club vibe for the middle of the night, going on an afro tech journey under the stars. Following up with 'Tribes Within' which takes you on a heart-racing journey through the dark forest. The second track bringing chants and elements of Tribal Africa. Both tracks have been well mixed and arranged and we are proud to bring you these two clubs tracks for you to use on your lockdown sets!
