On September 2nd Techno mainstays Pig&Dan are set to release a special EP entitled ‘Modular Baptism (Remixes)’ via their own imprint, ELEVATE, which will soon celebrate its milestone 50th release.

This exclusive remix package features four stunning reworks of ‘Growler’ and ‘The Saint (Job San)’, the lead tracks taken from the duo’s acclaimed fourth album, ‘Modular Baptism’ which was released earlier this year. 

‘Modular Baptism’ was a record that further solidified Pig&Dan’s status as one of the most exciting Techno acts in the business, with the album claiming the #1 spot on Beatport and singles such as ‘Growler’ reaching the top spot in Beatport’s Techno chart and #2 overall.

Kicking off proceedings are two alluring reinterpretation of the duo’s aforementioned banger ‘Growler’. The first comes from Spanish DJ/producer Alberto Ruiz, who fuses the original’s deep resounding synth-riff with warped industrial sounding effects, and the second from rising London-based Brazilian-born talent Vinicius Honorio, who ventures down an even darker route with fierce distorted synths crashing against the more melodic moments of the track to great effect.

Following on are two excellent re-rubs of ‘The Saint (Job San)’. The first comes from revered NY based DJ/producer Boris, who turns the melodic masterpiece into a sharp, dark Techno roller featuring a relentless array of synth stabs. The second remix comes from French-born Geneva-based underground king Lee Van Dowski, who provides a euphoric sounding framework by bringing the original’s piano chords to the front of the mix and introducing squelching synths towards the end of the 8-minute number to further fuel the climatic finish.

‘Modular Baptism (Remixes)’ is available exclusively via Beatport on September 2nd and everywhere else two weeks later.

Doorly & Hauswerks deliver 'Wrong Turn Episode 2'  on October 10th, the long-awaited follow-up to their killer two track Hot Creations EP, which destroyed dance-floors across the globe two years ago. The new three track EP is forthcoming on Barcelona/Ibiza-based imprint Wow! Recordings and we've managed to get our hands on an exclusive sliver from the release in the form of 'Jabber Hockey'. This is a dark, solid four-to-the-floor groover, which welcomes the winter in supreme fashion. It's most certainly one for the warehouse with an awesome blend fusing an ensemble of harrowing melodic touches and an onslaught of rasping vocal snippets.

The Tapesh & Maximiljan outfit has proven to be a successful combination as their last 6-track EP, “When We Were Young” (Noir Music) swooned not just a few labels in the Berlin Electro circuit. Stemming from the Dusseldorf scene, Tapesh & Maximiljan have paved their way to success through hard-cranked productions and deep flared beats. Filling up venues in in London, Ibiza, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Dubai and all over Germany, the duo manage their time to please. 

“One Night” is a 3-part deep house EP with intense vocals making for a loungy afterhour feel. The first track seduces the listener at a comfortable level as the second track prepares for the full blown dance vibe of “This Is” that will sweep weary bodies under the rotating lights.
