Closing out 2025 with groove, colour, and celebration, ‘Money Power’ sees long-time collaborators Da Africa Deep and Lyrik Shoxen reunite for an uplifting West African-inspired anthem. Having first worked together in 2019 on standout tracks like ‘Humans’ and ‘Lala’, the duo return to Sondela Recordings on familiar yet evolved form — following Da Africa Deep’s contribution ‘Burning Bright’ on Sondela Sampler Vol.3 and Lyrik Shoxen’s heartfelt single ‘Be Strong’.

Based in Johannesburg, Da Africa Deep remains a pillar of the Afro House scene, known for his timeless original productions & remixes. Here, he blends rich, jazz-inspired instrumentation with modern club energy, echoing the revolutionary spirit of Fela Kuti while pushing his signature sound forward. Lyrik’s vocals bring storytelling to the forefront — a reflection of youth, freedom, and self-expression, reminding listeners to live joyfully and independently.

Maziri - the artistic union of Ephlum and Stéphane Salerno - present 'Tamiditine,' a stirring reinterpretation of Tissilawen's original, carried by sultry strings, lush rhythms, and profuse melodic layers. Modern grooves and crisp electronic inflections create a sublime interplay between grounded, earthy house elements and sweeping, transcendent contours. The track holds a lived-in emotion, tracing the honesty and depth that run through Tissilawen's poetry. Alongside the original, two striking remixes expand the journey. FNX Omar drives the piece into an atmospheric deep-house dimension, where sculpted percussion and elegant synth formations gather into a magnetic pull that feels like stepping through a doorway on the dancefloor. His approach sharpens the song's sense of reflection and ascent. Alex Twin responds with a vivid reimagining, threading bright undercurrents and a propulsive cadence into a warm, rhythm-forward progression.
