There’s undeniable chemistry between Sebjak & Fahlberg, and I’m always excited to hear whenever the two Swedish DJ/Producers are cooking something up together. Well, Sebastian and Alexander are back, fresh out of the studio, their sound landing right at home at MoBlack Records. The tandem’s upcoming collaboration ‘Mariposa’ is a vibrant mosaic of electronic and organic musical elements that can arouse any dancefloor. Gracefully fluttering lyrics from Maria Olga Pineros’ 80’s Folk ballad ‘La Copla de Ordeno’ into a patchwork of sonic polychrome and striking sound patterns, the duo successfully adds another gem into the MoBlack catalog. This 7:01 minute track is elegantly balanced - percussive and gritty, dreamy and ever slightly sinister, rhythmic and melodically haunting - a climactic journey that 
can surely cast spells on dancers and dreamers alike.

Born and raised in Burgos in Spain, Yamil has been delivering high-quality house for the last couple of years on connected, Sol Selectas and MoBlack. He tells real stories with his tunes and has played all over the world as well as topping digital charts. Clemente is a fellow Spaniard who brings classic references, a touch of the exotic and world music cultures to his contemporary house and techno. He started this tune before sending it to Yamil before hitting the studio with Lewis who sang lyrics the pair had already written.
The gorgeous 'Thousand Miles' is a tune that brings to mind warm summer dancing, surrounded by happy smiling people, lost in the moment. The deep drums roll smoothly and the spiritual synths lock you into a state of hypnosis while the vocals bring intimacy and soul. It's awash with original melodies and well-crafted percussive layers.

Birds of Mind remix Chelonis R. Jones classic ‘Mythologies’. Their brand new version comes from the duo's forthcoming Body Language compilation.

Parisian pair Alex H. and Adrian C. aka Birds of Mind have already impressed this year with singles like 'Miss You Babe' and a remix of Kostakis's 'The Taking,' all of which are taken from the forthcoming Body Language compilation. This project comes a couple of years after their tasteful deep house full-length on Kindisch in late 2021 and a run of well-placed tunes in Beatport's Organic House chart. What sets them apart is their deftness of touch and the tenderness of their sounds as this new remix proves.

'Mythologies' originally appeared on Chelonis R. Jones's ‘Dislocated Genius’ album in 2005. The Birds of Mind remix is an airy, elegant deep house affair that floats amongst the clouds. Wavy grooves and dusty kicks carry you along amidst woody percussive hits, wispy pads and an intimate vocal that strikes a melancholic tone. Also included is a remastered version of the original. It's a brilliantly beguiling and personal sound that's paired back to muted chords, cosmic trills and paddy, minimal drums that draw you in deep.

'Alkebulan' by Ant LaRock & Roland Clark gets the remix treatment from David Mayer. David Mayer’s remix takes inspiration from the African vocal and injects it into the rhythm section, with off-beat snare hits driving the track forward as shakers stutter away. A huge, soaring breakdown is decked out with synth beauty that spills over into the drop but is wisely restrained from anything too overblown. Well-positioned FX whirrs and spins around your head while the lead riff pans around in similarly dizzying fashion.
Todd Terry protégé Ant LaRock has provided some gems for Exploited previously in the form of ‘Grown Ups’ and ‘When’, and this latest effort with house legend Roland Clark on vocals could be his strongest effort to date.
