A synergistic intercontinental collaboration fuels MoBlack Records' upcoming release. South African DJ/Producer Moish and Greek artist, Vasilis, converge to deliver a four-track EP featuring talented vocalists from all across the Mother Continent. Kicking off MBR508, the duo dives deep with 'Andindendwa' - an immersive, melodic introspection, breathed to life by Bukeka's illustrious croon. Up next on 'All Gone,' Kali Mija's poignant musical poetry propels the harmonious interplay of intuitive rhythms and rapturous electronic resonances. 'It's All Gone' beats on with 'Ebusuku,' a luminous nocturnal voyage illuminated by Angelic's quixotic balladry and silvery progressions. Rounding out the saga comes a gratifying finale - 'Ezweni,' a rhythmic expression of hope and resilience, unfolded through Thoby Dladla's inspiring lyrical storytelling.

Mobilee founder Ralf Kollmann has been a Bridges For Music board member for some time. At the Academy for Music & Entrepreneurship in Capetown he met a talented student, kept watching his evolvement which resulted in a two-track single on mobilee - 'Miss Interpretation' by Frequency Shifters. The South African producer creates a blend of urban techno with deep indigenous African sound. His Mobilee debut includes a remix by longtime friend Siphe Tebeka, a household name in South Africa's house music scene.

For the 27th JEUDI issue let’s welcome back one of the label headhonchos Doctor Dru. The “Savannah” EP is uniting his past as a drummer and his feel for hooky, layered arpeggios in a perfect manner. Dru’s tracks are always welcomed sureshots on the foor. His last contribution “The Pattern” stirred up the summer in Ibiza in 2015 and was played to death by major league artists like Solomun or Nic Fanciulli. This year his infamous remixes of D-nox & Beckers “Serenade” on JEUDI , Nico Stojans “BLUE HOUR” and Sailor &I’s “Letters” stirred up the festivals and foors around the world. We are sure this release will fnd his way in the playlist of many DJs as well.

The “Savannah” leads you in the wide of the african steppe merging multi layered arpish melodies into one fne percussion driven hypnotizing tune. Of course with never missing the hands up moment.

“Praerie” is featuring a little darker atmosphere but not less percussion driven. You’ll fnd Dru’s signature drone with trancy melody interjections. But the breakdown is what made the tracks name. Inspired by the west coast synth melodies of the late 70’s it comes suprisingly and with just the right power to make the crowd freak out.

The title track commences with subtly rousing drums, gradually building up a melancholic groove, perched on a backdrop of warm pads and spiralling synths.

Another set of oriental-inspired percussion comes to life in Zed, a lengthy journey of winding pads and shimmery riffs. The wailing vocal makes for a distinctive sound bite, while blending in deftly with the aid of a dramatic lead merged in ethereal throbs.

Mosaic brings forth another apt fusion of electronic and otherworldly elements. The symbiosis between the two remains linear, with incidental swings to each side of the realm, proving the artists’ ability to steer through divergent moods and combine them into a unitary, curious composition.
