Hot on the heels of Helsloot's superb 'Let's Pretend' single in April come two new remixes of it by Tube & Berger and Saint Evo.

Helsloot's original was quickly picked up by an array of DJs and dropped in a number of great sets. It was the latest in a string of fresh singles from the Dutch DJ and the extended mix is included again here. It is a hypnotic and rolling house tune with lush chords that bring plenty of cosmic vibes.

First to remix it are German mainstays and Kittball Records founders Tube & Berger. This pair has amassed over 100 million streams to their name, have scored a number of Beatport Top 5 hits and are regulars at leading parties like ANTS in Ibiza and the legendary Tomorrowland. Their take on 'Let's Pretend' is a light and airy, disco-tinged and bouncy house cut. The scintillating chords bring light, a steamy vocal layers in the soul and the whole thing takes you into another dime nsion.

Saint Evo is the founder of Celsius Degree Records and hails from the savannah plains of Kajiado County, the home of the famed Maasai people. He is a pioneer of the Afro house sound in East Africa and has collaborated with a multitude of producers and vocalists from across the globe. Here he remixes 'Let's Pretend' into a chunky groove with delicate synths and starry-eyed melodies. The percussion brings rich Afro house vibes and the vocals become spiritual chants that cast a majestic spell.

This is a vital package that brings some fresh new influences to the great original from Helsoot.

Kreative Nativez is a duo of producers and DJs from Lusaka in Zambia made up of childhood friends DJ Blocks and Tryybo. They came together in 2017 and have been making moves since fusing together Afro-tech, house and retro soul on a range of international labels. Mixing up percussion and driving rhythms, they have performed all over Africa and beyond. Here they link with Dr Feel and vocalist Philasande for a soul-stirring new single.
The fantastic 'IQHAWE' is about a hero losing hope that he can save his people and asking his forefathers to give him strength. It's a cut driven by 808 toms with an old-school feel and involving rhythmic patterns that lock you in. Uncomplicated, musical and slightly abstract, the groove drops to warm and dusty organic piano refrains and light-footed sequencer patterns that push the momentum as Philasande delivers a vocal full of mystique.

This ten-track compilation is a tessellation of artistic synergy and cross-genre-pollination in true ADE fashion. Helming the VA at the front, Elias remixes The Provincials' "Saba" featuring Božo Vrećo's enigmatic vocals at the marrow. Paris' Ankhoï sustains the blissful vibes, debuting on the label with an uplifting dance litany, 'Hallelujah' before letting Martin HERRS take listeners on a wistful caravan to 'Ramot de Galaad' via clubland. Up next, Savito's seductive rhythmic poetry wafts gracefully through Alegria's ebullient 'Current,' followed by Alessa Khin's effervescent tantric groover, 'Santa Muneca.' MBR 509 pulses forward as Berkan and Orkun Bozdemir re-awaken the aura of the 'Lost Acropolis,' then immerses into the viscous progressions and undulations of Ways of Thinking's 'Antes Esperando.' Propelled by lush ethnic instrumentals, cerebral electronic cadences permeate deeper in Secret Factory's 'Hey Jimmy,' continuing on to ethereal depths through James Deron's devotional rhapsody, 'Ewewo.' It wasn't a long time ago, that we at Madorasindahouse released the first few remixes of AWEN’s first artist album: Dodi Palese, Monkey Safari, and Yamil, delivered their first interpretations of AWEN’s work, played in countless dancefloors around the world.

This month, our release is made in South Africa, and we continue with our Selections of exceptional tracks: Creative Connected Experiences, Vol.3 made in South Africa.
Let’s start with Echo Deep, releasing “Sabisayo”, which starts right away with soft piano chords and a rhythmic synth. A voice coming from far away leads into the main theme and the track picks up with the rhythm, sustained until the end.

The second release is by Dj weather and Vtrinity with “Barena”. The track is a deep Afro house piece, with a strong bass “a la” Ten Wall, which leads the melody and the character. Neil Amarey’s remix stands out for his rhythmic drums and mysterious pad. The magic of this track fully flows thanks to its dynamic and surprising elements.
The other track by Dj Weather is with Skeptical Kevo, it’s called “Tell Kususa” and develops around a melodic pad. It starts melancholic and grows in energy, until the piano chords kick in and the rhythm starts growing again after the break. Enjoy our February South African sounds!
