Marrakech-born, London-based Jalal Ramdani lands on leading Afro house label MoBlack with a new single alongside Miishu featuring the majestic voice of Ahmed Sosso and backed with a remix from FNX Omar. It's not been two years since Jalal Ramdani made his debut on the scene but already he is a house mainstay. He has fans like Black Coffee, Dixon and Âme and has released on Blondish’s label Abracadabra as well as the Stereo MC’s connected imprint. He picks up ever-evolving influences as he plays all over Ibiza, Mykonos, London, Tulum and Dubai and has already had support for this new one from Manoo and Pablo Fierro amongst others. ‘Tolo’ sees Ramdani join forces with Canadian duo Miishu, whose mixed Afro and Ukranian roots have helped influence their sound. They have grace the Beatport Top 100 on numerous occasions and received support from the likes of Roger Sanchez.. 'Tolo' is a brilliantly original mix of house beats with the fiery voice of Ahmed Sosso, a rare vocal talent from the Ivory Coast who has featured on a select few records to date, including for Innervisions. The string sounds are intoxicating and the pads bring a sense of soul to this bustling, heart felt Afro house track as it marches on with increasing potency. Remixer FNX Omar needs no introduction as one of the key players in the Moroccan house music scene, always putting forward his Arab-Berber origins with contemporary Afro, deep and tech house. Now he shows again why he is the king of Afro house remixes with an elegant and elastic groove with spiritual synth designs. The Afro vocals bring intensity and authenticity as the heavy drums roll on. The deft melodic synth craft finishes it in spine-tingling fashion.. This is a potent package of fresh Afro house gems from the ever on-point MoBlack label.

Marrakech born DJ/producer Jalal Ramdani returns to ABRACADABRA with a new single and new collaboration with Tommy Chiabra.  ‘Together’ explores the themes of friendship and solidarity via a prime time slice of feel good Afrobeat, and a track that’s already featuring heavily in the sets of Blond:ish this summer.

Jalal picks up the story “(Tommy) and I met at one of the UNICEF charity events in Capri 2 years ago, finding out that Blond:ish was one of our common friends. Repeatedly meeting again at random in those charity events, we decided to materialise some form of collaboration, that would touch the widest audience, hence forming a music track.  We have named it ‘Together’. It is about togetherness during challenging times. In-between worldwide conflicts and divisions, we decided to produce a song that sing unity beyond provenience, religions, or any material boundaries.  It’s a track where the listener is automatically happier after listening to it. It has been supported by Blondish & others since we finished it, right before Burning Man 2022.  This is one of our many upcoming collaborations which goal is to uplift the listener both on and off the dance floor”.

Popping out on his Smash The House offshoot label Green Room, Like Mike enlists the help of Jalal Ramdani, Stevo Atambire, Yeronimo and The Wild Child on this synthy deep house anthem ‘Wala’.

‘Wala’ is an all-encompassing celebration of the tribal, deep and progressive sound which has become so popular in recent times, Like Mike continues to impress with his solo work and this release is no exception to the rule. The all-star team of producers expertly blend their individual influences together to produce a piece of music that not only ticks all of the deep/progressive boxes, but also incorporates a unique big room twist within the grandiose synths housed in the drop.

Like Mike, one half of a DJ Mag #1 DJ group with brother Dimitri Vegas, as well as label boss and award-winning music producer, is a name that needs no introduction at this point his career. Aside from his world-renowned work with Dimitri, Like Mike is also recognised globally for his solo work, in which his sound is currently geared towards this progressive sound evident in ‘Wala’. Tracks like ‘Alive’ and ‘Nothing Else Matters’ show the emotive and soulful route Like Mike is currently on, introducing a whole new production skillset to his arsenal.

With such a vast array of talent on display, it’s amazing five musical talents all with differing influences and skillsets can come together so coherently on one track. As main collaborator, Jalal Ramdani brings his signature progressive sound to the table, a sonic profile that has earned him support from huge artists in the scene like Black Coffee, Keinemusik and Dixon. The Moroccan-born but London-based producer has been making waves with releases like ‘Marrakech’ on MoBlack and ‘Together’ on ABRACADABRA. The three featured guests Stevo Atambire, Yeronimo and The Wild Child also make their presence known, as Atambire brings his live-instrumentation flavour to the party and the two upcoming producers in London-based Yeronimo and The Wild Child, both of which make a big impression on ‘Wala’.

The vibrant and elegant ’Deixa Fluir’ showcases the rich cultural tapestry of its creators. Brazilian producer Curol, known for her significant contributions to the Afro House scene in Brazil, collaborates with BRUNN, whose broad experience adds a dynamic edge to the production. Together, they team up with Tosz, a Polish vocalist who brings a unique flair with his Portuguese lyrics, reflecting his time living in Brazil and his multicultural experiences.

The song, whose title means "Let It Flow," carries the warm, rhythmic essence of Afro House, infused with a Brazilian twist. Curol feels a deep connection to her roots and hopes ‘Deixa Fluir’ becomes a soundtrack to cherished moments in life. BRUNN describes the creation of the track as a serendipitous journey, feeling that the song, even a year after its inception, still feels fresh and energising on the dance floor.
