Cocoon Recordings keeps on celebrating the arrival of the new year and with our second release in 2014 we present RAR's first 12" for Cocoon Recordings. "RAR" is the current project joint of RAMPA and RE.YOU who made large waves last year with releases like"Everything" by RAMPA on "Keinemusik“ - one of 2013s top tunes!
 
2013 saw also RARs first work for Cocoon Recordings with their "Cocoon Compilation L" contribution "Yeah Yeah Yeah" (feat.: Meggy) which turned into a heavy clubhit, too. 
 
Since then the two joined the Cocoon ArtistBooking department and their first tour is about to start in a couple of days. Their new Cocoon Recordings release is a cool teaser for what to expect life-on-stage from RAR and features three berlin-morning-flavoured minimal house tunes. Imagine yourself sunday morning at 7am in the Panoramabar and Ricardo Villalobos drops "Do We" by RAR. If you ever eyewitnessed one of these nights and wish to get back there here's your soundtrack to do so.

Family Piknik Music is back on top form as we roll into 2023 with more cutting edge techno, this time from ME & Her feat. Sutja Gutiérrez with remixes by NØREQUEST and Abstraal.

ME & Her is German born artist Jennifer Swirta aka YENI and is a regular on the global circuit who has played across Europe, South Africa, India and the United States. She is a strong willed character who does things her own way. With this alias she focuses on sophisticated techno.

Heroes is a deep rolling tune with a captivating groove that is overlaid with spine tingling vocals. They bring an emo edge to the late night atmospheres as wispy pads add future further details. Heroes (NØREQUEST Remix) is then more turbulent and dark, with frosted textures and menacing bass all building the pressure. Heroes (Abstraal Remix) closes out with a more layered, percussive sound that is moody and perfect for the back rooms.

Human Machine is the mix of Musumeci and his friends Sisio, Simeone and Pavi’s music consciousness downloaded into a 1024billions Tb Hyper HD to experience first combination between human and machine and see what sounds like. First result is 'Black Mechanism Ep', three tracks that merge the sound roots of the four brains involved giving back a blend of world music, techno and house with a little progressive touch. 

The title track open the ep with a strong 'kick and bass' syncopated rhythm introducing the dark arpeggio spots and an anthemic mama vocals flowing on top of an impressive Bass Synth texture. 'Polymorphism' is the result of an unexpected chromosomic synthesis that occurred after the alteration of the genes, this made possible to turn an initial dark & deep groove into a trancy emotional tune based on hypnotic synth riffs and basic chords changes. Perfect soundtrack of our lost moments. Last pieces of bits 'Encode' is a bass drum knocker with little melodic infection, someway a natural effect of the techno nature inherent to the 4 subjects.
