Already known for his characteristic sound, fast and rhythmic, inspired by the 90's techno scene, NO.NAME goes from deep to hard beats, grooves to psychedelic loops.
So basically, his sets are designed for the dancefloor.

He has collaborated with 24/H Records (Tempio del Futuro Perduto) label , Room Trax in Berlin, and now he is focusing on his own series of self releases called Hard Drive(which you should definitely check out), plus some more upcoming releases.

MOD82 Podcast series #052 with KASHPITZKY
Berlin based DJ/Producer KASHPITZKY joins us for the 52nd episode of our series.

Growing up in Tel-Aviv, Kashpitzky was etching out his musical path as a guitar player in a metal-core band. At some point though, he traded amplifiers for drum machines and really turned on the heat. 
His involvement in “V-DOOY”, hosting illegal raves in Tel-Aviv between 2016-2018 allowed him to dedicate himself to finding his own sound, while his three-year residency at the Bootleg Club secured him gigs in the biggest venues the city has to offer, from the Block to the Alphabet Club and the Breakfast Club.
+
In order to complete a formal musical education in sound design, Kash relocated to Berlin and graduated from the SAE Institute.
He is one of those DJs who you can’t clearly pigeonhole in terms of sound. Always changing, always banging, he has a track for every occasion, letting even extended sets never get boring. His unique definition of techno is perhaps best exemplified in his energetic, deep yet groovy productions, often combining broken beats with organic textures. In this regard, it is worth noting his release on Shlomi Aber’s Be As One imprint, as well as his contribution track to the VA compilation of Volster’s Secession label.

His tracks are often supported by heavyweight DJs and producers around the world and with releases coming up on Insolate’s Out of Place (including a Tensal remix), Developer’s Olympian, and a return to the Be As One imprint with a solo EP in 2022, the future looks busy and bright for this promising artist!

Inspired by the Dutch techno culture, after two years of living there, he came back home only for one reason - to develop this culture in Moldova.

This time our guest artist KIKA(MD) wanted to deliver his experience in first person to you so we thought it was a good idea to upload it literally as he wrote to us.

“So i think this podcast is not about perfect tracks or top artists, as well there is some that got there when i created the playlist and made the whole mood of the set, but this podcast is more about pushing this sound and developing this culture in countries where it's not developed at all, especially in Republic of Moldova and Romania. Also it is about showing the talent of upcoming artists around the world.”

“Here in Moldova i founded a series of events called Metanoia, actually it's the only  event in the country based on this concept. I met some great artists from Bucharest, Romania that  also started to push this sound in their country. Of course Romania is much more developed country and bigger than Moldova, but even so, there are almost no artists that produce or play this style of music, i mean rolling, raw, groovy and uptempo techno. I don't know why these two countries were not affected by the techno culture, but here is developed and popular quite different genres, like Minimal/Deep House/Micro House and commercial business music. So that's why a lot of people here don't know anything about real techno culture and this sound is unusual for them.
But two years ago we started our events from small communities and from event to event, more and more people are interested in the music and culture we are pushing. 
Through this podcast, I want to convey that eastern underground is slowly waking up, especially in Romania and the Republic of Moldova. 
This mix contains unreleased music by me, my Romanian friends Michael Ius and Thomas Rob, great upcoming artists around the world Ebass, Jay York, Alberto Tolo and Obscur and the rest of included tracks are from my favorite producers that have already been released.”

For the 64th episode of our series we brought you a 40 track mix by The Layering Wizard aka JAN GOERTZ.

Jan Goertz's creative work is largely driven by the desire to test and redefine his limits in competition with technology. This is one of the reasons why he is known for his 4-deck mixes containing a multitude of tracks. First two and then three players simply became too boring for him. The motivation to DJ, however, also comes from the calmness that is triggered in his otherwise very bustling head during the process. And of course the fun!

His goal in djing is the creation of an "endless groove". By breaking up track structures, Jan wants to form a mix as a "unity from its individual parts, instead of just stringing songs together". He prefers to play with four players.
+
Primarily, Jan draws inspiration from the club context - both as a guest and as an artist. For him, techno is first and foremost "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for."
+
Nevertheless the layering wizard also tries to combine smooth vibes with strong grooves for his podcasts and the pleasure of listening techno outside of a club.

This time we are Joined by Buenos Aires based Violinist,  DJ and Producer, Dominique Silva Cusidó AKA Dominique Slva.

Learning mostly by herself helped her to dig deeper in her sound. She got into electronic music production five years ago and over the last few she made to sign on labels such as XELIMA (ARG), X-IMG (SARIN’s label based in Berlin), Surface Reality (UK) and also made collaborations as a violinist. 
+
As a DJ she got to perform in some well known clubs and collectives from Argentina. 
Lately she’s been working on her next EP expected to be out later in April and rumors say that she has an upcoming release on Alessandro Nero’s Label, Kind Crime Recordings .

Her sound is characterized by a fusion of a Groovy/Dark techno and some other elements of classical rave sounds. She  always focuses on establishing a connection between her music and the dance floor.

Soul Abduction is the alter ego of Santiago Pastrano. Born in Buenos Aires in the late 80s, he was musically influenced by 90s pop sounds and Latin groove since he spent a part of  childhood in Venezuela.

His career as a DJ began back there in 2009. Characterized by his minimalist mixes, Soul Abduction moves in between Detroit, dub and hypnotic sounds.
+
 His style allowed him to have performances in different clubs and cycles in the country, such as Cocoliche, Under club, Vincent, Ucrania Techno, Raíces, Dynamic, Assault, Detekted, Dforest, etc.

He is 1/2 part of SX2, the duo he has along with Simon ST. Together they run Ucrania Techno, which is a collective that takes place in the southside of Buenos Aires.
