"For my contribution to the VAULT podcast series, I opted to play the tougher side of the techno produced in the late 90s and early 00s. The result is an intense blend of the high tempo, drum laden, hedonistic techno that the era became so well known for. Paying respect to the higher BPM ranges I’ve always loved, it is also a reflection of how I would play a 90s driven set. Sonically, these tracks aren’t as clean cut as most of the techno today, so it makes for an interesting (any potentially abrasive) listening experience.

You could say Fabio is the “Godfather” of ToyToy - a culture and brand that has grown and developed over the years into a large contributor and piece of history in the underground music scene here in South Africa. We’ll leave all other mysticism to a conversation you have to have with him when bumping into him at And . 



We decided to put this one up as Fabio holds absolute professionalism whenever he plays for us - holding any slot, regardless of the time . His mature pallet for sound seeps through in his sets and he always adds a different “spice” when he plays for us at MUUD . The energy is progressed , timbres shift , rhythms breath and essentially , a story is told. You can hear the years of experience in his mixing , track selection and transitions - a sonic treat awaits .

She maintains her goal to work hard and contribute persistently to the techno scene in order to establish herself as a well-known artist. She believes that music should be a journey, uniting the dance floor in intangible and unimaginable ways.
