Through the "Downers" series, I want to put in light another facet of Techno music that tends to be forgotten nowadays. This slower more minimalistic sound impacted me a lot in my first years as a raver in Berlin and shaped my musical indentity as a DJ. 

Do not expect fast rythms and high energy in these mixes but a more delicate approach, feeling driven, where layering gives another sense to the tracks played and showcase how elegant and beautiful techno music can be. 

Find some of my all time favourite tracks inside, Berghain classics, a 15 minutes Villalobos masterpiece and more recent music fitting the vibe perfectly. 

I hope this mix will touch your soul as much as it touches mine.

Since 2019, he has put his focus towards production and has released on labels such as PRX Records, Secession Records, Undivided Label, Syncopated Records, and more, with support from international artists such as Blue Hour, Marrøn, Kr!z, Kaiser & many more. 

His path to date has put him on line ups with some of technos biggest profiles, having shared line ups and been main support for Kaiser, Alarico & Stef Mendesidis After running a series of underground parties in the outskirts of Dublin & playing in some of Dublin’s best venues like Index, Bow Lane, Cellar, Wigwam & more, he decided to begin a new journey by setting up his own label ‘Undivided’ alongside another Dublin based DJ.

And finally we’re glad to introduce you to our first South Korean artist. One of the critical figures in the Korean techno scene, Sun Gin.

Sun Gin lets her mix “tell the story by itself,” based on her prominent hypnotic and raw DJing style. Filling the dancefloor with dynamic yet deep waves, she focuses on allowing listeners to reach the deepest freedom from the bottom of hearts. The hypnotic - often meditative - soundscape and the way she weaves the drum patterns in a tense manner have brought her to playing gigs in cities such as Seoul, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Augsburg, and more, allowing audiences to dance and live in the moment with overflowing energy.  Often Sun Gin’s sound goes beyond conventional club tunes, adding fresh, quirky melodies and multi-dimensional vocal sounds, creating an unforgettable moment.
