When we speak of a polar vortex we refer to a large area of low pressure that forms close to the poles of the Earth. Normally, this polar vortex is more prevalent at the north pole. This area of low pressure contains intense cold air that makes temperatures drop dramatically.

The universe is made up of its elements in constant motion, and its trajectory, based on rotation, gives way to what could be interpreted as a movement within an infinite circle.

We are excited to share the live recording of Sonic Wave Collective from this years Barcelona based Mostra festival.

Sonic Wave Collective is formed by Mostra's resident artists ABSIS, Cyklos and Spear with a focus on collaboration, inviting different artists to each event with improvisation as a nexus.

At Mostra 24, the guests were Puntalaberinto and Mod.1.

Expect a two hour live performance between machines with five artists pushing the boundaries of collaboration direct from Mostra location at Pati del Castell de Montjuïc.

The Moon projects only a portion of its shadow on the Sun. While the densest shadow of the Moon, the umbra, does not reach the Earth, only the partial shadow, the penumbra, is projected onto the Earth. During this event, a gust of wind approaches, hiding within it a mysterious and palpable energy. This natural phenomenon serves as the inspiration to launch the first chapter of the Thama Series titled "Eclipse of Existence." Eight tracks of deep and energetic techno, divided into two episodes, woven by talented artists. A sonic journey, a dance of rhythms.

INTERFERENCIA CONSTRUCTIVA
Interferencia Constructiva es el resultado de el single debut de Mod.1, el cual refleja la suma de diferentes frecuencias, generando la llamada interferencia entre ondas que concluyen en un movimiento natural de las propias, creando movimientos elípticos e hipnóticos.
La evolución ascendente de la suma de sus Hz, y las atmósferas que acompañan su desarrollo, generan una sensación de tensión, incertidumbre agonía de una situación que reprime nuestra alma y cuerpo al no poseer la libertad total, desencadenando en una explosion de energía donde podrás experimentar un final repentino de vacío, y a la vez tranquilidad.

INTERFERENCIA CONSTRUCTIVA

Interferencia Constructiva is the result of Mod.1 single debut, which reflects the sum of different frequencies, generating the so-called interference between waves that conclude on their own natural movement, creating elliptical and hypnotic movements.
(- The ascending evolution of the sum of his Hz -) The Hz sum,  its ascending evolution, and the atmospheres that accompany the development, generate a feeling of tension, an uncertain agony of a situation that repress our soul and body, a feeling of not owning a total freedom, triggering an energetic explosion where you can experience a sudden end of emptiness, and at the same time tranquility.

“Sighs on Earth” is the new single of Mod.1, a Barcelona-based techno artist. This track show us the intentions of this Spanish producer developing an hypnotic synth line and powerful rhythms.
