At the start of this year, we had the pleasure of welcoming Alexis Namur to Funke for one of our parties. Renowned as a co-founder of Beau Mot Plage, Alexis brings a style that flows seamlessly between house, tech house, and progressive house. Deepness and obscurity are at the heart of his sound. We were lucky enough to capture this special set, so tune into the third release of our podcast and relive the experience.

We first met Vouiz and Noyo at the early hours of a cold April morning, wrapped up in hot clothes, expresso (martini) in hand, getting ready to play the first set of the day on the outside stage of Atipik’s Intergalamactik. And what a set! despite the cold weather they warmed up everybody’s mind, body & soul.

These two have been operating as IZ/YO for the last 4 years. Influenced by all the different sub-genres of house, electro and breakbeats their music explores various horizons, creating a unique atmosphere with one idea in mind : the groove !

Lulu took her time to make a set that is longer than our other podcasts. She likes to play minimal and tech house and to carefully build up an atmosphere as she always does in her mixes. We are proud to present Warm Introduction EP by Terrifique, the latest release on Fresh Beats Records, the official imprint of LSEM. As our ninth release (FRBR009), this radiant five-tracker is a love letter to sun-drenched dancefloors, nostalgic grooves, and heartfelt connection.

Terrifique, also known as South Manchester-born, London-based DJ and producer Spencer Terry, is a member of the disco-centric crew Desert Island Disco, renowned for their euphoric festival sets and crate-digging sensibility. His solo material is equally distinctive: a warm analogue sound palette fused with modern production techniques, designed to move both body and soul.

The EP opens with Un Poco Picante, a slow-burning Balearic house cut that conjures late afternoons and coastal breezes, all simmering just below the surface. Built on sensual percussion and soft-focus textures, it’s a track that tastes of the Med.
Take That Love picks up the pace with a bouncing bassline and infectious vocal chops that spiral into a high-energy workout. This one’s pure serotonin, tailor-made for peak-time hands-in-the-air moments.

With Something (About You), Terrifique leans into the spirit of summer festivals. It’s a polished, hook-laden roller that balances club tension with pop sensibility, a testament to the artist’s instinct for writing music that’s as emotionally resonant as it is danceable.
Bonjour Amour slows things down again with lush piano chords and wistful French vocals. It’s a closing-time classic in the making, bittersweet and cinematic, evoking memories of a summer fling that lingers long after the lights go up.

On the remix, Mont Vernon reimagines Bonjour Amour as a deep house groover with an old-school twist. It’s understated but undeniable, ready for terrace sessions or sunrise sets alike.
Once again, Fresh Beats Records shines a light on the talent emerging from our Advanced Music Production Course. Warm Introduction EP is an open invitation into Terrifique’s sonic world: rich in feeling, grounded in groove, and destined for dancefloors everywhere.

The seventh episode of our podcast season is here, crafted by the young and charming Naten. We know this young fella since a few years through his older brother JR aka Moris, who equally crafted a podcast for BMP a few moons ago. When he is not playing obscure records, you can find our man working as a technician on sound stages and festivals, as a light designer for quality events such as le Technicentre or le Chant des Oiseaux. Please welcome Naten's deep and progressive sounds, with an interesting balance between hypnotic patterns and light. It's a trip, immerge yourself in the bass bath!
