Modern Natives is a collective project featuring various songwriters from the Asheville area. The project's goal is to release an album every few month and feature local artists as well as provide opportunities for songwriters to collaborate and promote their music.

Atkinson’s lyrical world is full of distant hope, confession, and stark realization, both inward and outward. “Youth Eternal” is a culmination of years of vision, and revision, and re-envision. It is simultaneously stark, and vibrant. Hopeless and hopeful.
