Szikra is Kornél Kovács at his most wistfully nostalgic. Ultra-smooth keys offset by noisy lo-fi breakbeats and vocals urging you to git fucked up, like Metro Area caught up... in smoke!

All the trademark sounds of the Barnhus massive are present - off-kilter playfulness paired with the cocky swagger of a south Stockholm roughneck and an infectious pop sensibility that lingers in your head long after the needle hits the inner groove.

The so-called Bónusz Beat is actually a track in its own right, sacrificing most of the hook and the vocals for a dubby smackdown ripe for adventurous dancefloors.

Young Stockholm producer Abdulla Rashim closes out the set with a perfectly horizontal techno groove, using only elements from the original production.

Emerging electronic artist OJ is set to captivate listeners by releasing her highly anticipated EP, Portal Access Points. This otherworldly collection pushes the boundaries of electronic music incorporating percussive rhythms & an ethereal universe through its unique, genre-bending approach. Within the Portal Access Points EP, artists IN2STELLAR, GoodMostlyBad and Maude Vôs collaborate with OJ’s originals to present their unique interpretations.

OJ’s masterful productions weave elements from various genres, creating a soundscape that is both mesmerizing and transcendent. Each track serves as a portal, guiding listeners through a labyrinth of underground high energy rave influences and otherworldly sound textures.

Delusional founder Maude Vôs, brings their signature sound design to Unknown Traveller; drawing from dubstep, idm and ambient soundscapes, Maude fabricates a spacey 40hz roller.

Here we go with the second remix single from Callecat's Symbiosis album, featuring fresh takes on their original tracks by Noiyse Project and Xspance.

Noiyse Project delivers a dynamic rework of 'State of Mind,' Callecat's collaboration with Paul Hazendonk, infusing it with deeper, progressive elements. Xspance takes a different approach, seamlessly blending the Intro and Outro of the album into a cohesive, atmospheric remix.

This release is part of an ongoing project where each track from the LP will be remixed, offering listeners new sonic perspectives on the album's deep, melodic soundscapes.

Closing the release is Depths Of Time by Gerwin van Engelenburg, a deep, Detroit-influenced techno track that delves into the expansive, hypnotic realms of timeless techno. With its nods to the pioneering sounds of the Motor City, the track is a reminder that the past still has a profound impact on the future, aligning perfectly with Modern Nostalgia's philosophy of blending history with the present.

In Family Affair, Modern Nostalgia signals its commitment to resurrecting the spirit of early electronic music while pushing it forward with new creative insights. Isolée’s Arrival

When three people run a label together it is exceptionally rare to find a positive unified opinion of a record upon first listen. When Isolée sent his "Mangroove" EP to Maeve, this was in fact what happened. But it is Isolée after all....

Mangroove came about last summer when The Drifter happened to catch Isolée's live set at a festival in Switzerland. Instantly blown away by the A side "Pisco" he was determined to find out what it was and if it was to be released. After chatting, Isolée suggested that he would send "Pisco" along with a couple of other "demos" to Maeve and a few days later the EP was happening.

Isolée has created some of the most important and beautiful records of our generation and has being a huge influence on what we do, thus we are incredibly excited and humbled to release his work.

This three track EP shows several different sides of the Frankfurt native, from the A-side dance floor catalyst that is "Pisco" to the deeper dubbier B-sides of "L5 Syndrome" and "Mangrove". This is the perfect record to mark our tenth release.
