Stoned Ape is still a relatively new artist to the Seattle scene. Formerly HD Thuro of Stoned Ape Theory, the collaboration of himself and producer Ill Pill, releasing an EP in 2013. Stoned is now going solo, starting with this single produced by renowned local Nima Skeemz. Waves comes off of his upcoming This is Not for Your Entertainment EP which should be released this summer.

An emcee is more than an entertainer, more than an orator, more than a poet. Training in philosophy has allowed me to dissolve borders between ideas and let my mind wander freely. I rap because, like my mind, verbal expression has no boundaries. My songs and their lyrics are the most accurate expression of my mental states and processes.
