Main parts --- nylon and steel string acoustic with some electric guitar overdubs later. A kind of study, with some almost experimental electric guitar ornaments. Recovered the acoustic guitar files, fixed them up, and glued it together! A bit of unevenness in the quality means best on earphones I think.

My father passed away today 18th Feb 2022. The last few months were particularly hard for him and he just wanted to die.  This song is one of a few I wrote as catharsis. Sometimes we can live too long when quality of life has gone.

Seagull was kind enough to share a childhood memory with me of fishing boats with old spark plug engines, the scent of the sea, the sound of gulls looking for a meal, all of which he had put into a lovely musical portrait.  It is a different world compared to the childhood I had growing up in suburban Denver, Colorado.  Now with us both in our later years we get to meet on this wonderful platform called Soundcloud, and I asked if I could tag along with him as he shared this lovely memory.
